It is surprising what is said about a celebrity after they have died by their so called best friends.

Apparently Uri Geller who is supposed to be one of Michael Jackson's best friends said in an interview "Michael would never take as much as an aspirin as he was against drugs of any form" he also stated " Michael was also very afraid of needles and would not even have acupuncture when it was suggested it would help him".

Then when David Gest (who apparently was Michael Jackson's closest friend, as they were practically brought up together) was interviewed, stated " I was always telling Michael to lay off all the medication he was taking" He also stated " many times I had to hide needles and medication from him".

These statements were not what has been written by the media but statements made on television by Uri Geller and David Gest whilst being interviewed.

Whatever is said about his private life, I think he was a naive, gifted young man who was exploited by his parents and many others and lived a life like many historical gifted eccentrics.  The sad thing is that it is often the parents who see their child has exceptional gifts who exploit them at too young an age.

Those who remember Lena Zavaroni, she was initially exploited by her parents and then the media and ended up anorexic, and died young.

I was in London today taking my parents to see Jersey Boys as a Golden wedding present. I only add this info so you don't think i was there for Pride.  Cheesy

Anyway happened to walk past the theatre where Thriller is on. There are loads of flowers there, as well as candles and letters from fans stuck to the wall. Part of me found it to be tacky, but some of these letters were quite moving, just goes to show how much he meant to some of his fans.

There is a certain irony to Sky news showing pictures from a TV news helicopter of the funeral home, whilst displaying the caption "private" funeral taking place.

I live with two house mates who say he's innocent. I think otherwise.
I debated it tonight with one of them. The only thing i know for sure is that it's not worth debating!
The highlight of the "debate" - If you murder somebody and nobody finds out you're not a murderer.

It's widely reported that Jordy Chandler has admitted in the last week that nothing happened and his father forced him to lie.

Nice of him to keep quiet until now..he's probably not trying to cash in at all.

When watching Michael Jackson's coffin being pushed away by the Jackson Brothers, was anybody else reminded of the brilliance?

of Cool Runnings?

I turned it off after Brooke Shields decided to use it to further her career and talk about how great she was.

There were a few cringeworthy moments, but in a strange way, some of it was quite moving.   I have to admit to shedding a tear when Paris spoke at the end.

But then I did the same in High School Musical 3....................
