I won't feel ashamed of myself for not shown any respect to a man who i'm 99.9999999999999% sure has committed some if not all of the crimes he was accused of,if he wasn't a rich A list celeb there is no doubt in my mind he would've spent a very long time in jail and this thread would have a very different tone to it,and the fact the justice system saw fit not to serve him with a guilty verdict doesn't mean he is an innoncent man.

If instead of being born in the UK in the second half of the 20th century you were born in the first half and in Germany, I wonder to how many decimal places you would be 99% sure that the Arian race is superior to all others and that those pesky Jews want shoved in ovens.

That's not what I was saying at all. I was just making the point that we, all of us, have a tendency to believe something and come to accept it as fact when we hear it often enough.

I want to appeal to everyone who is "sure" of this man's guilt to ask themselves the question why they are sure (bearing in mind that because he acted wierd or because there's no smoke without fire are probably both really shit reasons to condemn someone)

Some may have come indirectly through conversations with others who themselves have been influenced by the media.

Or as we're talking about opinions and their source, the potential validity of them is largely irrelevant. As such, an opinion on this matter could well have been obtained by any method of divination independant of the media such as looking into a crystal ball or examination of the entrails of a sheep. Deep seated prejudice against people called Michael may also be a source of opinion.

Or indeed, he may have witnessed the crime itself as a third party and chosen not to come forward for fear of his life. Knowing Michael Jackson would not be a pre-requisite.
