Another hand I could do with some feedback on as I don't feel I played it optimally. I had also lost a pot the previous hand and may have let this affect my play (very bad).

Suited Ace in the small blind and one limper, all call seems OK here. The flop comes Ace high. I bet it and get called by the big blind. The turn gives me trip aces so I bet out again this is probably fine also? I get called again. Asrcri is a tight player playing 14/8 over about 100 hands with an AF of 1.5. I have not seen him do anything out of line and at this point I should really be trying to get to a showdown cheap and possibly check / call the river? Or is it a bet/fold? Should I take a less aggresive line here anyway given the other player in the hand?

It depends what the function of your river bet is. If it's a blocker bet, then this option has obviously saved you money over check calling. You seemed to lose the minimum here because I think if you were betting for value you should have bet more...

rod, stop posting the results of hands. it's much harder for people to give objective opinions when they know what your oppo's cards are.

the replies you get will be much more useful to you if you cut out that info

theres no way from his passive play you can assume that you're beat here. i agree with MC that if you'd made a proper-sized value bet on the end then you would lose more in this hand, but i think you would win more in the long run
