When I first designed this quiz there were more questions as you know. Furthermore, I expected more players. As such, the 10 points I allocated for this seemed fair at the time. Obviously now it doesn't seem so fair, but I can't change it after I've compiled the answers. Also, to be fair, this is a somewhat logical choice, not completely arbitary. That said...

QUESTION 11 - Name a chemical element beginning with the letter "c".

SPECIAL - Californium (Cf) - -10 points
Girgy85
kinboshi

SHEEP - Cobalt - 3 points
Josedinho
TightEnd
Laxie

SHEEP - Chlorine - 3 points
cdw1111
xxMAIRxx
The_duke

Cadmium - 2 points
RichEO
Stokes

ACE - Calcium - 1 point
Shogun112

ACE - Chromium - 1 point
G1BTW

I'll be back in 5 minutes to asses the damage.

sigh

Californium (pronounced /ˌkælɨˈfɔrniəm/) is a metallic chemical element with the symbol Cf and atomic number 98. A radioactive transuranic element, californium is used in starting nuclear reactors, optimizing coal-fired power plants and cement production facilities (via online analyzers), medical treatment of cancer, and oil exploration via down hole well logging. It was first produced by bombarding curium with alpha particles (helium ions).

Right, I'm banning Cf for giving me and Girgy 10 points for an answer that wasn't even the sheep answer.

The annoying thing is I nearly went for caesium instead, but thought no one would go for Californium.

What is your objection?

It's an element.  What is the problem?

You haven't got 10 points.

You've got MINUS 10 points.
