Forget the body fat content ones. They're shit and a big waste of money. If you want proof get on some of these scales and see what it says your body fat content is. Then pick up a 20kg suitcase and get back on the scales. Your body fat will have gone up according to the machine. Utter bollocks!!

Just get the most expensive set of scales you can afford that tell you how much you weigh. Whether they are digital or analogue doesn't matter. The more they cost generally the better they will be.

Alternatively don't bother weighing yourself at all. Just take a look in the mirror.

You're clearly not stupid so you know that by keeping up your routine and not eating badly you are going to lose weight. As long as you don't break the routine you'll know that you are doing well and never have to get on the scales.

Doesn't matter, if you always weigh yourself with them on, then you're monitoring your change in weight.

The longer you wear your boots the more they will wear out and subsequently the less they will weigh.

But as you lose weight the wear rate will decrease. This must also be taken in to account.

But they'll also get shit and stuff stuck to them as he does his walks.  It's all good.
