Just joined the gym tonight!

I did a session tonight on the treadmill. I did 30 minutes of speed interval training. I managed to do about 2.8km burning around 300 calories.

I have an appointment at 9am in the morning to sort me out a training program which is all included in the fee.

The gym also has a pool and steam room so il be able to do some swimming as well as cardio and weights.
Dont want to dash your hopes here Girgy but that equates to about 2 slices of bread n butter.

Your point?

Says more about bread and butter than it doesn't about exercising...

Point is  you got do nearly 3k to burn off a nothing sarnie, so the next time he looks at a double cheeseburger see at it as a 5k jog instead of a err double cheeseburger.

That was like the first time I'd been back on a treadmill in like 10months!

Wait while I'm doing an hour and burning 900-1000 calories!! I need to build myself up again! I know I can do it!

Exercising allows you to burn more calories after the exercise too though. You'll be burning more calories sleeping at night if you exercised during the day than if you didn't. So it's not just 2 slices of bread and butter.
