Having reread this thread over recently i was very disappointed in myself at letting all the hard work slip. So i have decided to resurrect the thread and get on the diary bandwaggon.
So i started this thread on July 15, 2009 as a weightloss thread. I weighed my heaviest at the time and thought a thread would help motivate me into losing weight. I had many previous failed attempts to lose weight but like always i achieve a target and then just go back to my old ways of junk food and no exercise.
Basically i lost over 2 stones between July 09 and December 09 where the diary went quiet and i just faded back into my old ways. I dont know why i do this cos obv i feel pretty good after dropping 2 stone but i can never kick on and lose more. Fasttrack to today where i have pretty much gained all the weight back + some. 2010 started and i was still gyming but that faded. I was grinding a shitty van job which was depressing and lead to my old habits of snacking on junk etc. I d had enough of van driving around May time and just decided id invest all my money (which wasn't much) into gaining a taxi license. The license took around 2 months to gain and cost me around £700 but has been worth every penny so far.
I started taxi driving in August 2009 and have been working hard for 5 months. I have been guilty of my old habits of snacking on crisps, chocolate and fizzy drinks and takeaways. I enjoy the job but have had some pretty random and scary customers a couple of times. More on my work throughout the thread.
I have started eating healtier again and also the exercise and after reading Cos and Matt's diaries and msn chat with Cos i have made a prop bet with Cos.
Prop Bet details:
I currently weigh 151kg
I have to lose 4kg a month. Every month that i lose 4kg Cos will put £36 into a piggybank.
My target weight is 110kg
If by Saturday 5th November 2011 i weigh 110kg then cos will enter me into the DTD deepstack.
If i fail then i have to Taxi Cos back home to London after the weekend.
So im hoping this will inspire and motivate me again. Hopefully i can get in the right frame of mind this time.
