Seeking James Akenhead

Any of the Blonde Poker community know how I can get in touch with James through email? Wanted to send a personal thanks as I backed him for $200 at 751-1 to win the ME and he's locked in a very nice profit once I sort out a hedging plan on the Nov9 lines. Thought it'd be the gentlemanly thing to send him my appreciation.

I backed 20 players - 10 at 751-1 and 10 at 1000, basically for some degen action during the ME - turned out pretty well! Because of the field size u could get some great players - also backed Saul, Baron, Fricke etc... Saul and Jordan Rich also went deep for me, but Akenhead's run was awesome to follow. Was on hol with my kids being on school hols and a long way from a PC, so was getting text updates from mates - was crushed when he lost the huge coin flip then well pumped when he cracked rockets...

While I'd love to, the opportunity to hedge a really good profit is too much to pass up.

ok so u have +150200 on akenhead , -200 on the rest (also -3800 on losing bets)
akenhead is 18 approx to win , for a level win ud get $8000 approx , half of that pays for losing bets , overall even money for picking a wsop finalist.

I want to assume he meant to make the final table.

Not even The Sicilian should be 750-1 in a field of over 6,000. Shocking value. Nice result though.

gonna be pretty tough for you to make a decent profit at the moment. If betfair are gonna do a market in running, just hope jame gets a double or two and gets 4/5 handed. Your best be it prolly laying him at 50/1 to a few of us.

Is he really bad? I heard him on pokerroad saying he was gonna play 42 events at this years wsop he only cashed in one for $18k not a great return for his backers. Well i think hes a staked player but not sure.

Betfair do have a market in play for this at the moment, Akenhead is current available to lay at 20. There should be enough liquidity to lay him off before November, the problem with this is you aren't locking up much profit at all, relatively to scooping the lot.
I make it you can guarentee to see yourself about 6k profit on James, which given you have already done 3.8k on the rest isn't really the biggest result in the world. Also you are going have to get 70k sterling approx on betfair to do this, lol.
Just let it ride imo, you have had a fun punt which might win you a lot of money.

I was looking about before the main event for the odds. I couldnt find any that gave odds for the winner, all i could find was November 9 odds. Ladbrokes had Ivey at 60/1 to make FT, players like Lederer, A.Black, De Wolf, Dwan, Hansen all around 70-90/1. Most others were around 150-300/1 for final table with any other unnamed player at
1000/1
just for final table.
Good on you making a good profit off this is he pulls it off but i really can't believe you put this kind of money on these odds
