Phone the Venetian card room and ask for the poker rate.
It's the only time you'll stay in a 5 star hotel for about £50 per night!
Pretty certain its at least $150 per day without checking, it certainly was the last time I thought about booking there.
How much poker do you have to play there for this to be eligable?
Here's all the deals.

I don't bother with these now as I hate being stuck to playing in one place. Also you will find as good a deal on fatwallet nearer the time. I've posted the link elsewhere before but here it is.

Don't book through an agency (expedia etc) unless the deal looks exceptional, fatwallet will nearly always beat it at some point or other.
Those figures from allvegaspoker are way out of date.
I stayed at Bellagio and Wynn for pretty much the duration of the wsop.
I paid $99 for the Wynn and $109 for the Bellagio (during the week.. a bit more at the weekend)
And altho they do state you have to put those hours in, I didn't (in fact I didn't play at all at the Bellagio during my 3 week stay except one tournament) and there were no questions asked when I checked out.
Fair enough, hence why I always deal with hotels directly to get the latest best offer. I think some do monitor the time you play though so be careful, you don't want a big bill at the end!

Wynn does have a player tracking system, so better be a bit careful there.. but Bellagio has no such system, so I didn't bother playing at all!
They just want the rooms as full as possible I think.

But that Chilli bloke is going for the deep stack tournament isn't he?
The tournaments count towards it I'm sure.

Not officially, if you ask the floor that question it will be no. The trick is to sit in on a cash game and swipe in before the tourney and they will turn a blind eye to it.

I've noticed that Virgin holidays are offering a package inc flights and hotel cheaper than I can book the flight with them at the moment. Might be worth a look.

So who is going in November then? There were rumblings of quite of few heading there for the Venetian Deepstack Festival all through November - now swelling in numbers im sure due to James's WSOP final table.
So who is going?
Not me.
Where are you staying?
At home.
Is it cheap?
Yes.
When?
All the time.
Have you booked?
Don't have to book, I live there.
Im just looking to book things up this week but wandered all of the above first. Help please!

I is going, for around ten days to incorporate the WSOP final table.
Staying at The Venetian.
It's cheap enough if you play half a dozen or so deepstacks and get the poker rate. They can't sort this out for you until the night before you leave. Keep your tournament receipts.

There seems enough flight/hotel packages available on expedia.co.uk at very reasonable prices

Can I ask why you are staying there? Do you know something the rest of us don't, or do you just prefer to be away from the strip when not playing?
