do lots of people in england support a scottish team?  I've never really understood it, I went to a catholic school so had loads of other kids support celtic along with leeds (man utd for the idiot kids) this kinda rubbed off on me but still i would never say I support them and would prefer to see the english team do well.

I support the mighty Queen of the South, just thought it was a ridic name when i was a kid. Me and a few mates went all the way to Dumfries to watch them a few years back and the game was called off an hour before kick off, sure was a good idea going in the middle of winter. We did get in a national scottish paper though as a local reporter needed a story, gg us.

I went to a Catholic school but Liverpool are historically protestant and Everton Catholic. So I'm a heretic.

Doesn't Andy Fordham support both?

I think Liverpool fans and Celtic fans have a lot in common. We have similar fans in many ways, similar atmospheres, grounds that are similar in terms of where they are and the people and community connected to it, we played each other very soon after Hillsborough, you support our campaign for Justice for the 96, we've had some amazing piss ups when our fans have met abroad and of all the other fans out there we just seem to get each other.

That Scottish Dave talks some shit though Wink
