do lots of people in england support a scottish team?  I've never really understood it, I went to a catholic school so had loads of other kids support celtic along with leeds (man utd for the idiot kids) this kinda rubbed off on me but still i would never say I support them and would prefer to see the english team do well.

there's a huge rangers following amongst charlton fans

Doesn't Andy Fordham support both?

nah, he's charlton born and bred but pretty sure he's never actually supported us. def rangers though

have just checked it out with those in the know. he's millwall but goes to see us occasionally and went with us to wembley for the playoffs

Loser goes straight into the europa league.

Congrats to arsenal, never really looked in danger of conceding. very good game imo.

Thought we competed well in the 1st half but the first goals a killer. Second half was always going to be difficult and we were well beat in the end.

credit to celtic they played well in the first half albeit above themselves imo, to lose a goal at that stage of the game was a total killer and things MIGHT have been diff if they didnt concede but arsenals class shone through 2nd half with celtic abit deflated

McGeady looks a decent player.

Funny game really, Arsenal got lucky with their goals, didn't really flow, Celtic very competitive & a very decent amount of possession and yet it seemed to have an air of inevitability.

Obv glad the Arse won and pretty confident they should finish the job. If they, do I'll kinda wish Celtic had got a better draw as Arsenal have to be the toughest draw at this stage of the comp.

Celtic over-rated and not very good imo

Don't know anything about football though...

Fair enough, can't argue with that. Any moans about the ref's interpretation of the advantage rule are just that, moans. 1-0 would have been fair IMO, but the luck tends to go with the better team. We need a miracle at the Emirates, but I'd be happy with worrying Arsenal.

He has been in newspapers claiming he was a Rangers fan.  He has/used to have a massive gold Rangers chain

yeah, I wasn't correcting myself when I said he's millwall, I was adding to the earlier post where I said he was rangers. I think it's rangers 1st, millwall 2nd and then the odd visit to charlton on top
