Colour Fade on Monitor
«
on:
September 02, 2009, 12:11:00 PM »
Recently the colour has been intermittently fading, the blue on the side sliding bar almost disappears. I've check the connections, all seem ok.
Not sure what else I need to check. Perhaps its just the Monitor showing signs its about to expire.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tonji.

Seconded (the Samsung). I have the 24" (brag post obv) and have colour calibration software/hardware to sort out the colours and it's amazing. Shows my photos off really good.

Yep, guess I gotta buy a new one (sigh). Had this old lump of a monitor for 8 years or so. I really hate change, so much faffing around!
What's the most reliable brand? I've got Dell at the moment.
Cheers.

Thanks, but they look too balla, just the basic, no bells & whistles type, will do me
Acer CrystalBrite P193WX 19'' Widescreen LCD Monitor, looks the job.
I've found switching it on & off seems to reset the colour ok.
Cheers all.
