Are 14 tourneys in a day the norm for MTT pros? It seems like a helluva lot to me. btw - wp.
14 is on the low side, usually it would be low 20's. Low doesnt mean lazy day though usually its because i have gone deep in a few so unreg the late ones. Anytime i play just 10-14 means i probably won on the day.
How "professional" are you in relation to upcoming comps? Do you know what you are playing Sunday already?
Have you litreally written this month off socially due to WCOOP?
Will you struggle with a whole month of 4am or later finishes?
Thanks for doing this nice idea for a thread, Run like the sun as they say.
Sunday i just play everything anyway, i am not one of these who play short sessions, either i am at the pc by 7-45pm or i dont play.
Ha not quite taking tomorrow off due to an early start as i am playing golf.
Nah once i get in routine i will just wake up later, there is also BB8 and the EPO in the middle of the month to break things up.

September 2nd
meh, had a pretty terrible day yesterday, it was one of those that makes you want to quit. I managed just 2 cashes meaning i didnt quite lose $5k on the day, i still managed to get the world though as Trigg won the 30r on FTP and TommyC/NLE managed a 1st/3rd combo in the ipoker 100r.
Results:
Blonde: -$564 Semi bubbled the 50r, which is the closest i have got in 4 months in that tournament....
Stars: -$1745 Bubbled the 50w1 and 50r then managed a min cash in the $1/4m a pretty tez day, did get some stacks though so at least something positive
Tilt: -$2229 Bubbled the 129KO (massive net loser in that comp) and managed a 21st in the 30r that Trigg ended up winning
Party: -$162 Volume King
Day total:
-$4700.64
Played 23
MTD TOTALS
Played: 37
ROI: 23.29%
Profit: $1998.38

Totals are good but would be great to see individual buy ins and no. of rebuys.
Not for the whole months but just occasionally.

When you're playing so many at once do you basically stick to positional play and your own cards or do you have info. on some of your opponents at each table?

Next week Laxie asks a builder if he has any kind of plan to work to or if he just bungs the bricks in a pile and shoves a roof on top.
To be fair, your question isn't completely ridic.

They are detrimental to my tournament game, its hard to focus on 30r's and 100f's when you are winning/losing 3k pots. I might return to them again but it will be when i am not playing MTT's.

I just play tight early then 3b everyone once the antes kick in
P.S. Except Dave Jones as he is a nit.

Do you think there is any particular reason that you keep losing in this comp specifically?
With it being a KO do you think there is a noticeable difference in play than a regular tourney?
Do you think it being a KO is an advantage for you? e.g Do you bust a lot of players or take advantage of people more willing to take a risk to bust you

Don't the continual bad beats from moronic players wear you out or don't you get these?
Is volume to answer to deal with this "variance"?

Day total:
+$0.52

Party: -$429 Just the 2, no draw.
Day total:
-$1661.50

September 6th
What a brutal day, started off with golf in the morning where i started strong and then had a complete mare, got back way later than expected and left my flat keys at the club, obv my car is in for service atm as well so fml.
Given the nature of the days WCOOP's i opted to sleep till 9 instead of doing a full schedule. As it happened i didn't bust anything early so just regged till 11. It worked out fairly well, obv i got very unlucky on the final of the $1k v gregior but i would take it at the start of the day and its the first decent result i have had in a while.
Results:
Blonde: +$0 Missed the $250k
Stars: +$26,922 obv a bit gutting but a 29k cash in the 1k is never a bad result.
Tilt: -$1200 -100% ROI, again.
Party: +$0 Again slept past these.
Day total:
+$25,722.00
Played 13
MTD TOTALS
Played: 77
ROI: 141.67%
Profit: $26,059.40
