This is a micro stakes rb with a small hardcore of regular winners (I'm one of them). It's slow enough to be played whilst I work/read Blonde/whatever and the regular players on the FT makes the latter stages fun.

Shove for me. Already 2550 (if my adding up is correct) in the pot that we can pick up. And if we do get called we're still happy.

world's easiest shove. you're short stacked, you have AKs, there's loads of money in the pot

AK needs to see all 5 cards to be 50 50 against a pair so get 'em in now.

Don't make the mistake of raising, letting someone call then having to pass a missed flop. With 2 callers already this is highly likely.

If you run in to AA or KK it's just one of them things. UL.

A shove is the only option buddy. What was your thought process in terms of considering doing something else?

Raise/folding AK in the early levels where you have 100bbs is fine if you miss a flop but if we raise here we're putting in too much of our stack to pass on any flop and there's too much in the middle to let anyone see a flop unless they want to do it for your whole stack.

this suggests you were considering an option that didn't invole raising. what?

I thought... raise and call the shove which the raise induces...

Nahh truthfully - utter brainfart!

Is this a question of semantics? I didn't consider either folding or limping.

The problem you have is the stacks of the 2 callers.

They are still just about deep enough to play a flop against each other so don't need to iso shove.

The raise to induce a shove has to be done against the right oppo in the right circumstance. 2 limpers from 30bb stacks isn't the right circumstance.

I could tell you that, but then I'd have to kill you!

This story is bad enough without me then being castigated for the raise size...
