I think he comes across well. he's not going to win any prizes for entertainment but that's not what he's there for. seems like a normal, level-headed guy who wants to stay that way

Led himself a quiet & decent life, suddenly wins a huge bunch of money, & now he's a donk.

The Interviewer was not exactly Mr Personality, but luckily for him, he has not won a bunch of money, so he escaped censure.

Er, I'm trying, (and failing miserably) to make a little joke about the fact that you are telling someone not to comment on a person's personality, while doing it yourself.

I assumed you would realise that I was joking, but I added a  just to be sure.
