So thats Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Annette Obrestad all out ... Wont exactly please the sponsors, but having them here certainly created a buzz .... wonder if they will play the £500 tomorrow ??
According to Hellmuth's interview he's off to London for a high stakes Full Tilt cash game.
Great stuff as usual Kev. More norkage though.

Wait......... what these big poker stars would rather going back to London than spend another couple of nights in Nottingham playing a £500 freeze!
When you think what the sponsors must have shelled out to get them here .... you might be excused for hoping that they would at least stick around for a while at the venue.

Regardless of the big
ego's
names, DTD will have enhanced its reputation in the poker world ... I have heard a lot of people saying good things about the place ... and rightly so !

I kind of agree with you Kev, but to people from overseas especially Yanks. London = England and the rest of it is some bizarre backwater. Just getting them to come to Nottingham was a triumph of sorts.

I have heard not only do you get some excellent rb deals with rtr but they do freerolls and rake races that other affiliates don't. Can you confirm that Kev.

I can confirm that they are bloody good at what they do, I am sure if people click the link and have a look around, they will find out all the information they need.

I don't think so - they've come over, posed for photos with lookalikes last night, played in the tournament & done their TV interviews. Job done.
I don't think Doyle should have to hang about pumping notes into Larry the Lobster to pass the time once he's been knocked out. That's the risk you take with this - the stars you bring in might get knocked out early.
