Some time during winter, me and two other golfers will be participating in "speed golf for charity".

The particpants are:

Oliver field (3)
Curtis Childs (2)
Daniel Carter (7)

The aim of the game is to get the ball in the hole the in least amount of shots, as fast as possible! It will take place sometime during early winter when the weather is suitable for running about and the golf course and it is a bit quiter. It will take place at Cleeve hill golf course off the yellow tees.

The way it works:

We will be playing alternate shot, but we will take it in turns to tee off. For example, if Curtis tee's off on the 1st hole, regardless who holes out on the 1st hole, Oliver will tee off on the 2nd hole and obviously that leaves Daniel to tee off on the 3rd hole. Normal golf rules will apply except a maximum of two minutes will be spent on looking for a lost golf ball. Putting with the pin left in is fine, but bunkers will be raked and pitchmarks repaired.

So, if we shoot a score of 90 in a time of 1 hour 30 minutes 25 seconds then that is 90+90.25 = 180.25 (The reason for seconds being used is to decide tie breakers).

It costs £5 a guess and you can have more than one guess if you wish! Out of all monies collected, 50% will go to charity and the remaining to the winner.

Extra info:

Cleeve hill is a very long, hilly course so this could factor into making decisions. The par is 69 and 6200 yards.

Money can be sent to Paypal.

Paypal e-mail: dan_is_the_king247 [at] hotmail [dot] com. Please remember to post your guess on the forum AND to leave a message with your forum name AND your guess when sending me the money (makes it a lot easier for me).

The chosen charity is PWSA (Prader-Willi Syndrome Association). Registered charity no. 284583 Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (UK)

Do you all have to be on or around T box as first ball is struck each hole? Or can you be down the fairway waiting?

Nope, we will try and position ourselves as best as possible on the fairway or on the green.

I'd say for me and Curt we could do 100m in just an average speed, and 1500m in a pretty poor time. I do know my mate Olly can do 1500m in 5:30 if thats any good.

We will all be using pencil bags that are super light, probably only be carrying 6 clubs each so I'd say about 6-7KG total.

Cool great, I think I'm getting nearer to having my guess.

How often do go to the gym if at all?

Please can you break down a standard session for me including weights and repetitions.

Have to say Mr Scrote, whilst I admire anyone that will do something to raise money and awareness for charity, I feel that you won't be getting many guesses as to who will be the winner. The reason being that 50% of any money raised goes to the winner! WTF? Why would members of blonde want to line the pockets of someone they don't know? Why would someone want to make money out of an event that is to raise money for charity? Wouldnlt it make more sense for 100% to go to charity and the participants have some sort of prop bet?

Good luck with it but it's not for me.
