Job done, and surprisingly accurate scorecards (from two of the judges).
Shame Haye didn't go for it a little earlier, might have got a knockdown and a stoppage win.
Good to have a Brit as World Champ again.

Wow never been so delighted to lose a bet ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought it was 50/50 at decision time. A small part of me thinks the powers that be in boxing want not only rid of Valuev, but they see David Haye as $$$$$$$$$ for them and boxing as a whole. DH will be a good and exciting heavyweight champion for the future IMO, good luck to him I say.

Just watched a replay of the fight http://www.youtube.com/user/shiffttyakajkid#p/u/6/y0DwrgnMj10Really meh fight but I thought Haye won. Valuev is so ridiculously limited as a boxer that is an embarrasment he was a heavyweight champion. I think peoples concerns about Haye getting a bad decision (including myself) were unfounded, Haye is sooooooooo much more marketable for future fights that it balances the home advantage. Oh and wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii @ a British boxer being heavyweight champ.

It was a really interesting and captivating fight, though I wouldnt want to watch a rematch.
In a completely neutral environment, I think Haye won it by a couple of clear rounds, but I actually think he needed to do a lot more because he was in Germany. Either way cracking result, Haye is awesome for both british boxing and heavyweight boxing in general and I think he has shown he can change gears and hang with the big men no problem.
Also, this once again shows what a tremendous sack of shit Audley Harrison is, who still hasnt managed a proper world title fight after winning gold 9 years ago, yet Haye wins bronze or someink at some other comp and then just a few years later is fighting for the world heavyweight title from cruiserweight after three fights.
Haye should cruise past Ruiz, but I think the Kltschkos would be a step too far, hope im wrong.
