ok lets say your crushing the 100/200 game but loseing a little at the 1/2 game
you played 100000 hands of 1/2 but only 1000 hands of 100/200
you made 10k at the 100/200 but lost 1k at the 1/2
so overall your a winner
but on average if all hands were at same level you would of lost
But obv all hands were not at the same level.
What is the point of a stat with an "IF" in the equation.
If my granny had balls, she would have been my grandad.
i dont know i just answered the question
No you didn't. You answered it "IF" all hands were at the same level, and they were not.
which is what the program did it made all the buys ins fictionally sb/bb and count as that
So how can it give me a minus avarage when I'm up overall?

I am thinking about a new campaign, maybe the hall of fame?
I could go in for most t-shirt requests?

because your winning at one level where you have played less hands but higher blinds and losing at a level where you have played more hands and smaller blinds

i dont know if this is right or not(i havnt really got a clue, im just guessing) but the overall figure is just compacted into an hourly win rate(its not actually what you win per hour) whereas the average win rate is more idicative of you broader stats.
lets say you played for five hours, lost $100 for the first 4 hours then won $900 in the last hour if you divide the profit between the hours it would be + but the average would be -

Is this a cryptic version of what Iron is saying? If so, I really would like to inderstand it.
I'm suspicious that it might be a rubdown, but if so, you've whooshed me. I'm not bright enough to figure it out.

Thanks, but that's still a little cryptic.
It seems to me that in this case he has lost a lot of sessions, but on average, he is in front.

Yeah think what Byron is getting at, is that Jamie Gold won 12 million (before legal wranglings) but has probably lost overall without this result.

Yes. that makes sense. It would obviously turn a plus into a minus of you discount a $12 million result, but in my stats, that's not the case.

what are the units? it's possible to have one + and one - if the 2 stats are not the same. e.g. if one is $/h and one is bb/h and you play at different levels
