lolz imo

why would anyone who doesn't support them want leeds/newcastle* in the prem or particularly care what division they're in?

I love seeing the big clubs get relegated, I love the small clubs going up and having a shot, it makes football more interesting

So then why does everyone revel in the struggles of both newcastle/leeds.If i was a fan of a club in the prem i would like to have teams such as newc/leeds in the lge for good away trips then wigan/boro(yes they rnt anymore but nobody revellled in there relegation) who have half empty grounds every game

p.s if I was a supporter of a non top 6 team in the Premiership, I'd want bad teams in there with us, irrespective of how many fans they have. Good away trips completely irrelevant, its about staying up

Seems to be half of the prem teams fans are always unhappy.

It's good to go down sometimes and win games Smiley

ohh and City got dicked today, funny listening to their fans after the game on Sky sports news saying they deserved to win.

But we were shit and your guarenteed to beat us at home whoever you are.

Would much rather debate the spoiling of a very good game than who deserves/cares/wants teams to be where.Sorry for the noise  Wink

Look at the newcastle thread and i would imagine there were 10+ blondes who wanted us to go down last season for no other reason than it would be funny. It honestly doesn't bother/matter to me that that's how they felt just find it bit strange

I find it strange that people bang on about the prem so much, I'm a leeds fan, I was born in leeds and have gone to elland road all my life, whilst playing top flight football is good and i was gutted when we went down it doesnt really make a difference to me.

I go to the games either way and wouldnt swap that to say i support man utd because my uncle did and therefore I have some weak link to them! same goes for all those Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea fans out there who have never been to a game and just picked there team because of the colour of shirt or because of some other stupid link like 'I saw the cup final and picked the when i was 7'

just my 2cents!

Mond we have had this arguement before, I still don't see your point.

Oh and btw if it is about how many people turn up to games Norwich would deserve to be in the top flight before Leeds.

mond, you will seriously struggle to find anyone outside of the north east who particularly cares about what division newcastle are in. it just doesn't matter to anyone else and nor should it

Seems to be half of the prem teams fans are always unhappy.

so true. in our last couple of seasons under curbishley when we were a very safe mid table club half the crowd at the valley wanted to get relegated so we didn't have to watch dull, stale bore draws anymore. the atmosphere now that we're 3rd tier is the best it's been for many years, football is fun once again

This is the main thing that bothers me tbh though, because if people are honest it actually does.People read the shit in the papers and for some reason believe all the hype, believe that all newcastle fans think they DESERVE to win everything this is bs,that we think we are better than all other fans of any other club in the country we don't,think that we don't care about results we just want keeganesque football eh wtf we wer shit yday but beat plymouth more of the same please. There's so much shit in the papers about us and everyone seems to believe it for some reason

Longy,i agree with you that norwich are very well supported and good luck in your chase for promotion
