Scotland obv....not a good place to have a bB. Edinburgh would mean the Mrs and I could travel home after a bB and therefore booking a hotel would be a waste ...which in turn means that Friday nights will be wasted Sad

Glasgow is a dump, Aberdeen is too cold...London is ridic expensive and any other town in the UK is just as easy to get to, and just as cheap to get to,  as Ireland is.

Ireland it is then.

errr glasgow is a dump? i beg to differ maybe where you used to stay , not where i live

Only been there twice, both time i am pretty certain i left thinking "what a dump"

so bB9 will be in brighton then?

the venue doesn't want us. Cardroom manager yes, casino manager No. I blame Flushy and Dubai.

I am going to get working on this again!

I worked in Glasgow for a whole year, and I thought the same.

Why do pubs not have windows?
Why do fish and chip places have bars over the counter to protect the staff from the customers?
Why do off licences have plexi glass walls to stop customers getting at the alcohol?
Why did a see at least 3 people beaten up for wearing wrong colour football shirt?
Why did it rain 360 days in that year I was there?
When you order a pie and chips from a chippy, why do they fry a pie? yuk, proper minging.

I went to Glasgow with the lowest possible expectations.

But I was pleasantly suprised, found a couple of really good Italian restaurants and a handful of pubs that didn't include about 30 people looking to kick the shit out of a cockney wanker.
