Spoke to Kev and we said we'd look to finish it by sunday but that was if there where no more bids,if people keep bidding then i would think we'd keep it open as long as there's interest.

How about something like 48 hours from the last bid?

That still leaves a fixed deadline but avoids the danger of ending the auction too early.

Kinda doing that anyway as i'd made it "going twice" and we where going to finish it sunday,would think if it's still going by monday 24hrs would be long enough since everyones had a chance to see the thread 

A bidder might not be active for a day or so though.

You have to give 48 hours imo.
