can someone work out the odds for me please?
a friend of mine is playing in a big cash game.
he is dealt aces 3 hands in a row and each time he flops a set. lol
anyone know how to work that out ?

norrrrrrr you're out by a factor of approx 1,500 but good effort you're doing the chances of it happening on 3 specific hands which is very different which is very different from the odds of it happening 3 times in a row as we don't start counting until after it's happened the first time

with a kosher dealer though the odds are somewhere between 2.5 and 3 million to oneish I guess. cba to work it out properly

depends how many times you flop an ace when you have an ace if you happen to do it every other day then you should see this ever 13000 years or so

You should have mentioned it was 2 years ago, there was more chance of it happening then. This is credit crunch, not many aces going around.
