can someone work out the odds for me please?

a friend of mine is playing in a big cash game.

he is dealt aces 3 hands in a row and each time he flops a set. lol

anyone know how to work that out ?

you're out by a factor of approx 1,500 but good effort

you're doing the chances of it happening on 3 specific hands which is very different which is very different from the odds of it happening 3 times in a row as we don't start counting until after it's happened the first time

good point, gotta be a dodgy dealer

with a kosher dealer though the odds are somewhere between 2.5 and 3 million to oneish I guess. cba to work it out properly

You should have mentioned it was 2 years ago, there was more chance of it happening then. This is credit crunch, not many aces going around.
