A good friend of mine is a transexual, and the stories I've heard of abuse she and her friends receive on nights out from groups of young men are really quite horrible. I wonder what makes them feel that transexuals are fair game when it comes to picking a fight. My friend can never consider getting public transport home after a late night, because it's just too risky. Such a shame, especially in a city as cosmopolitan and diverse as London that this stuff still happens every day. Maybe stories like this might make the yobs think twice, although I doubt it, especially with the Sun using a term like 'Trannies' in the headline. Looking forward to the day when we can all live and let live.
