The curry does look nice but also like it's come out of a jar. It prob tastes nice but I prefer a home made sauce with fresh ingredients.

same with the cheesecake - better homemade imo

looks homemade to me?

ok, if it's home made it's very good - but I have my doubts.

who cares if the cake is homemade? what on earth makes you think that matt would make a better cheesecake than a pro baker?

much better to buy what appears to be an awesome bit of cake than to eat your own crappy effort imo

because the additives and preservatives make it a different flavour to fresh

Yeah I've gone down the fresh route before but tbh the jars taste better.

I just chop up and fry an onion and some currants use half a jar then add some fresh tomatoes and a few spices and let it simmer for 15 mins.

You know I like a bit of seetness in my curries Hopkin.

It probably only about 10 but it really adds to the taste.

You have to fry the fuck out of them though or the texture is just wrong.

Your curry loses any credibility because of sultanas/currants or whatever they were.
