You bink 2 tourns and 2nd in another for about 4k and then do the lot the next day?? I thought I was loose with my cash, but am starting to feel a whole lot better about myself!!!... that is ridic mate, surely you got to just stick to the stake for your own sanity?!
Meh I've had more spins from bowls this year between £2k and £4k and subsequent spin downs that I can count.
Once I'm out of live and online makeup I'm gonna give things a good re-think about what I want from poker.
Surely someone else will be thinking for you when you reach this very old age?

FWIW... its not what you want from poker that you need to think about I dont think.. I reckon if it wasn't poker then you could still be in danger of being self destructive with your cash through other means - I think you just need to have a look at yourself and realise you are weak in some areas - I'm not trying to preach to you btw, I can talk from my own experiences and have become pretty self aware of my own weaknesses - I have spunked large amounts of my bankroll in the past when tilted (not to same levels as you have, but not far off) .. I'm not prepared to give up poker so I make life as easy as possible for myself - I put daily deposit limits on my poker accounts and try not to leave money online - I know that not doing so can get me into trouble.
I started my staking for different reasons but its been great for my discipline - I've learnt that I respect other peoples money far more than my own for some reason (imagine it the same for you?)
If I didn't do these things I couldn't carry on playing I dont think - Just for same reason I dont go into casinos with cash card these days.
GL anyway.

I did something rare though and reviewed every hand from the session and made some general notes which probably explains why I've had the worst month in terms of buy ins I've ever had so far. I'm 100% I'll get back to even but it will probably take me until into Jan to do so which is obviously pretty annoying.
Anyway my notes were:
3-bet pots:
3-betting too many hands. Peel in pos with AKJx type hands more. 3-betting with run downs etc I'm still doing well but I've widened my 3-bet range way too much.
3-bet sizing is sloppy. It seems I'm just hitting 'pot' rather than 3-balling small. Normally I 3-bet to like $9 after someone opens to $3.50 but I've been potting to like $12 all the time. Takes away a bit of my edge post I think.
Playing way too many double suited hands. Start folding these dickface!
Playing too many hands from UTG.
This is why you need to get HEM mate. It makes reviewing sessions really easy and tells you your EV and everything on each street.
Even if you don't use the HUD it's a great tool to help plug leaks in your game.

Lost a buy in last night.
I'm officially not playing until I've set this up now. If I do I'm putting $1000 of what I lost back in from my own pocket. Bling blang blaow.

if you're setting up the hud just remember that to move stats around your screen you rightclick-drag. neither hem or pt make this clear and people spend forever trying to work it out
