Rafa got it bang on tactically.
Torres is too good, Carra rediscoverd himself (altho should have been sent off) and Lucas, yes that's right Lucas, was immense.
Anyone whos on my facebook will know i absolutely destroy him after most games but today he was an absolute giant. PS Some absolute monster performances from the boys today. |

Benny Noon, Lucas and Kuyt were very important today. It's amazing that virtually the same side that played so badly midweek managed to put on a performance today against a form side with quality throughout. Obviously, Torres' was a difference between last week and today, but the rest of the team played well.
Thought the Carragher foul was actually a foul on him, but if the ref gives the foul against him and a card, then surely it had to be a red? Bet it was evens for Vidic and/or Mascherano to be sent off!
Beach balls were funny and good to see the stewards and fans take it mostly in good humour.

Although I'd take issue with your view on the clash with Owen. Overall, Liverpool did exactly what I expected of them. They got at us in midfield and maintained the pressure throughout.
