I'm with you on the 'big' thing - bloke got to be bigger than me!

Just as well in your case - otherwise you'd only be able to go out with jockeys or oompa loompas.

Why do you want to know what someone is thinking? It's a weird question, start a normal conversation!

If you care about a person, it is perfectly normal to care about what they're thinking.

What about Day 2 of the relationship onwards though?

Yes but the way you put it across it was like it was an ok question at all times. Fair enough if you have reason to believe something is on their mind but just like when a guy is watching telly or something and he gets asked that question all he wants to say is stfu leave me be. And that's him being nice, he's probably really thinking damn I wish I was with that girl on the telly.

I'm kind of with Cos on this one. Would freak me out a bit if anyone asked me that, unless it was in context, and it's not something I'd be likely to ask out of context either.

All these 'rules' and 'behaviour' things do my head in tbh. If you're in a relationship with someone and you like each other and get on, then why can't it just all be relaxed and 'normal', with both parties saying that they want to say without any 'spin'?  I'm no great authority on relationships, I've had enough failed ones, but I can count on one hand the number of 'arguments' I've had with significant others in my life. I think the answer is I'm probably a bit of a doormat and go with the flow too much.

number one - if i asked a bloke if my bum (or any other part of my anatomy) looks big in something I want an honest answer. I'm only asking because I think what i've tried on is unflattering and I want a second opinion to validate my view before shelling out money for it/wearing it out of the house. Don't assume that the woman wants  you to lie - it's often a lot more straightforward and not a trick question.

do you think she is better looking than me? i've got no idea why a woman would ask a bloke that. I have eyes. I wouldn't even contemplating asking a question like that unless the woman in question was ann widdecombe.
