right - having had that mini self-analysis session i'm now waiting for Dawn's next lesson on how to be a proper girlfriend
and i am waiting for cos's lessons in the perfect one night stand
Will let Hopkin and Evilpie cover this when they get back from Prague.
Me and Matt will shortly be starting the thread 'What do fit young women want in a man?' shame we have no women to contibute to it..................................
Wouldn't you be better starting one like " How can Matt and I get real women to dance for us without having to pay them " ?
e
What? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Thats where me and matt differ. Not overly fussed about lapdancers at all. Yeah there was a really nice one in Leeds but in general I like them petite and cute. None of Matts barbie stripper malarky.

but us blokes will be thinking if she wears a pair of tight trousers "will the stiches hold out all night"
and if she has a skirt/dress that isnt figure hugging we'll be thinking "i bet there is damn fat ass hiding under that tent"
+ we'll feel sorry for the poor bloke that had to lie to make her happy about herself, whose probably sitting in the corner thinking "all the blokes up at the bar are saying me missus arse is huuuge"
so honesty for the spouse if every other blokes amusement as if he said "No yr ass is way too big for that",she'd have the hump he'd be up at the bar with his m8's thinking well i'm gonna get a bollocking so i might as well get rat arsed with my mates and make the bollocking worth while..

Gosh this is all whooshing me.
Re; The Arse thing, never had a nice arse so never will have, it does it's job, that'll do 4 me.
If I am told something doesn't look right on me, I take it off n return it to the shop, thanking him for telling me what I probably already suspected. Why get a monk on for being told the truth?. I want to make sure that my husband thinks i look ok therefore I am safe in the knowledge that I will get lucky when I get home, or before if the fancy takes us.

I've read this twice but still don't understand a word. Is Mond posting on your account Ian?

I agree with you 110% Mo, but even you said it...he tells you the outfit doesn't look right on you. Does he actually come out and say some part of your body looks wrong? It's a fine line and from the sounds of it, he's a good Lad who has it mastered.

+1
I don't think women really do Mo - I think it's a bit of an urban myth, probably perpetuated by the Annabelle Weir thing a few years ago

Dawn Dawn Dawn, not every outfit can look right on every body, all of us have parts we like not to display too much. I personally am getting a bit past it to worry, I go more for comfort, but depending on the nights atmo I still want to make sure he fancies me and if that's telling me it looks shit or as you put it part of my body doesn't look right then so be it. Not a lot I can do about my body now so then my suggestion would be for him to go look for a bird with the part of body I lack. There are plenty of women out there that have perfect bodies and looks and I sure as hell arn't one and never have been, I just accepted it years back and now think well hey, this is me don't look if I am not pleasing to you.

Women want men to listen, but not give answers or solutions unless asked directly.
But women, please don't try and offload about your day whilst the footy's on.

Was thinking about this some more whilst making a run to the shop. Trying to figure out how the 'honesty' post turned into a 'big bums' rant. Especially as I totally agree 100% with what you're saying Mo. Personally, I'm very ok with my body. Sure, I'm not what the lads would consider 'fit', but I'm too old to worry about what the lads think. Been there, done that...moving on. Time to enjoy life where ever that takes me and regardless of swimsuit size.
Eventually, it occurred to me. The reason for that post was because earlier in the thread a few of the Lads said things along the lines of, "Yeah right. Try telling her she has a big bum in that outfit and wait for the slap." I suppose I lost track of where I meant to go with my next post.
Instead, I was trying to give those Lads ideas on how to go about being honest without putting themselves at risk of a slap.
For the likes of you and I, it's definitely not an issue. But it must be an issue for some to say so many of the Lads came out with the same concerns so quickly.

I tried the honesty approach, it's very overated.
"Does this dress make my bum look big?"
"No, the 18" pizza and the box of choccys makes yer bum look big, nothing to do with the dress at all"
Apparently you have to not always be honest.
And why ask what men are thinking? If you knew, there would be a lot of guys walking around with red fingerprint shapes on their faces.

The clothes thing is baffling me - in my experience they don't stay on long enough for me to worry if they look any good.

This is why you're barred from Pizza Express.
