£20 live f/o 18 players remain with top 4 paid. Blinds at 300/600. UTG raises to 2000. He's been quite tight so far and seems new to the game. Playing a stack of about 20k. Another tight player shoves for 6500. Not seen him play many hands so far, and those he's shown down have been good. A loose player now flats this bet. He's playing a stack of about 30k. An aggressive player now shoves for about 16000. Of anyone in the hand I can label this guy as a good player. He can ship it in light, but I'm assuming with the action so far he's probably not doing here. And so to me in the big blind playing a stack of 18000. . I folded. What would others do and why?

well i'd just fold
why: on the balance of things with the action you are probably crushed. At best you are extremely vulnerable with so many in the pot and not everyone is a complete "loony tune any 2 cards all in" type of player

I assume you were upset when they all turned over Ax and you realised they only had one out between them?

if there's 2 diff denominations of chip with similar colours I try and trick the dealer by putting in less than actually required
if there's not then see if you can get away with splashing the pot with a dirty stack of low denom chips, again less than actually required

Theres a lot of money to be won here. Assuming we are ahead of loose player who has flatted, and player who is decent and has shoved for 16k, I would base my decision on whether tight player who has flatted for 6.5k will call your shove for 13.5k more.
Pokerstove probs prove otherwsie.

Meh to all you.
I think I call here.
If we fold then we are saying that the guy who shoves for 16k must have AA or KK. And if were worried about UTG then were saying the same thing, are we saying his gay 3.3x open is always AA KK
We probably have the original shover smashed as he has a wide range, the reshove is probably AQ which we have smashed.
Theres 18 left and only 4 paid we need to win this comp for any sort of profit, dont think were going to do it by nitting up?
Worst case here is that 16k guy has AK but even then its likely mini shover has Ax

In a £20 f/o I'm never passing QQ unless someone shows me KK or AA face up.
I might do in a bigger buy in event but there's no way here.
Oppo's can easily show 10 10, AK, poss even AQ here.
There's too much in there to let it go.

20£ fo i will never fold QQ
with only top 4 getting paid i would try and get a stack or just hit the cash tables.
QQ is prob bottom of my range tho but i dont think i will be able to fold

Show your cards to the guy stat next to you (provided he has already folded) and fold with a moan and a groan.
