Ok, been a while since an update

Me and Brent decided to leave our network game for a while and start our own norm games.

I decided i wanted a challenge of taking a tez team all the way to the top.

I took over Burton Albion, predicted 24th in League 2 and had bout 20k transfer Budget.

1st season was really tough and just stayed up with a game to spare, ended up 22nd.

Next season i got some decent freebies in and was still predicted to battle bravely against relegation, but i wasnt having any of that and ended up winning League 2, with 3 games so spare. The transformation was incred, again with small budget of about 15k this time.

Next season in League 1, expected to struggle relegation again obv.
This time i got 14k transfer budget so had to wheel and deal in the market. I get in Harewood and Pericard on frees, Somma from Leeds cheap and the rest is history. Pericard scored 32 in all comps and Harewood 38! Ended up getting promoted to the Championship, incredible scenes!

Im worried theyve gone too far too quickly, and could get stuffed in Championship, especially as we still have no money to get some decent players in.
Got offered Spurs job a bit ago, but turned it down as i aim to take Burton Albion all the way.

Planning on staying in all weekend and catching up on entourage/dexter etc and playing fm still deciding who to be either Arsenal,toon,spurs or some other team i fancy at the time

Started with Bradford and won the league in my first season! Brought in some excellent loanees and some freebies and have just started off the new season!

Brent and I started a network game today.

We chose the MLS for something different, its a pretty good league (drafts/wage caps/play off style league)

Im LA Galaxy and Brent is Seattle, we both have mid table media predictions.

My wage is capped at 32k a week and i have a xfer budget of 240k. I pretty much stayed with the same team except for some golden oldies that i got on frees, but still dominate the MLS:

Sol Campbell
Bolo Zenden.

We only played a few hours tonight as BH was ill/tired/dead/ftops

Just finished my first season with Liverpool.

Won the league.
Lost to Chelski in final of FA cup
Lost to Chelski in quarters of Champions league.

I only bought in Henri Saivet who is class and sold Lucas, Voronin, Cavalieri, Dossena and some shitty reserve players. Been playing 4411 and surprise of the season for me has to be N'Gog.

This summer (2010) im gonna get my scouts sent around to see if i can pick any worldies.

All the MLS players are on about £300-£1700 a week, my signings were all unemployed so accepted cheap wages.

Anyway whilst still pissed up this morning i was wondering what would happen to your manager if you went on for long enough? Would you die? Say you got to 89-90 years old on the game or summet! Would they just retire you? Would you complete the game? Would it end? Do you die?

Anybody know or can find out for me?

Depends I think,,, how old are you when you start managing... say you start at 35 then the game is more likely to crash after 20/25 seasons anyway like the FM games always do... Never thought about it... May try now lol...

I'm in my 2nd season with Leeds and am lying 4th in the championship with about half season to go... Bought a few decent players when Watford,,, Boro and Blackpool went down... PL FTW
