Live donkament at local casino, mixed level table, which I feel I have a big edge. 9 left, 5 paid. Blinds 800/1600/200. Average is 28k.
I have 35k. Serial limper enters the pot, I have  and choose to punish from the cutoff. Fold to BB (the only player capable of a rebluff) shoves for 11k more, limper folds, as expected. Should I consider the edge factor a little more before calling?
I'm only asking because I feel this could be small leak in my game and any comments would be welcome.

Depends how much you raised to...

But whatever the amount was it looks like a call to me.

cast see how u can fold as u need to call 6500 into 19700, even if you give him a range of jj+ aqs+ ak off you still have odds to call, and im pretty sure nobodys that nitty

edit i didnt add limpers chips so 6500 into 21300, so call. but yeah this fold pre, seems like a very small iso raise too.

Definitely pass pre.

You're on 20 bbs so should be looking to either shove over the top of serial raisers or playing premiums only where you're not passing on any flop.

When there's a few short stacks about you need to be really careful opening marginal holdings as you are likely to face a shove.

Fair enough you'll probably have the pot odds to call but it's a great way to spew valuable chips.

By calling and losing you lose a lot of your FE so have to tighten up your reshove range and lose the advantage that you have.

Btw. Thinking that you have an edge here is probably a leak. With 20 bigs there's no real edge for anyone. If you do have an edge here it is only that you know when to shove and when to fold. With the average at 18 bigs it's purely a pre flop game.

according to op you decided to punish the limper. not sure how you do that with your raise to 4.5k. if it's folded round to him all you've done is given him more than 3/1 to call your raise and play against your crap hand

Yeh punishing the limper/isolating like this is more of a cash game move.

When you look to your left and see any stacks short enough to commit you to their shove, you can't really mess around with QT.

to be honest this move works alot in local casino donkaments, where the opposition are clueless, no matter how small the raise is.
