Top May points scorer - Snatiramas Top June points scorer - Gamblor Sigh, 50 wookies lined up for the Tuesday night thingy and I lasted about two hours before 77 no good v 33. Then played a but of cash with four or five pkr.com avatars, which was nice. That's it leaguers, we've reached the halfway stage and it's still all to play for. Except in the Clown Stakes obv, which is done and dusted. I canna wait for New Year's Day.July will be a pretty quiet one I reckon but the table will get a good shake up in August for sure. Expect a significant move from finger-flicking Buftybarger during GUKPT week imo. You have just Sooooooo bokked urself !!! |

I have some reservations, but until I try it I won't know
FWIW I Think it might attract more runners and different faces. Just not sure it will suit me. Of course that's fixable if I adapt quickly enough

The structure is very similar to the Venetian night tournament, which becomes a complete crapshoot. They are best played very systematically, ie, get a stack early and bully, or lose a few and then play the double-up game when the blinds hit 400-800 and beyond.
It's 2x30mins, then 20mins. Apparently. That might change though. Depends which variety pack cereal Kalam had for breakfast.

50 players
500,000 chips in play
at the end of the 3rd hour blinds go 1000-2000, assuming no filler levels
250x bb in play at that point
say 20 players left as a guesstimate
or 10-12x bb each in the run from 20 to the final table
ie push or fold crapshoot for a while
As Chompy says, need to get well above average in hours two and three to avoid the carnage
