8th for me tonight. If I could run any worse I would have to change my name to tightysicilichompydonk.

Sicilidonk was 9th.

Thirty two they got tonight. Thirty farking two! Only 19 when it opened, so only three tables. I managed to outspeed Xpressman to become player number 30 at around 6.05pm, despite being 100 yards behind in the car park, although he did take a Paula Ratcliffe break between the front door and the poker room. In the gents I should add, not squatting down behind a fruity.
Sir Donkeys was back from his solo trip to Disneyland and looked truly refreshed. He played better than ever too, finishing ninth and securing a saver for £50.
Celtic, who knocked me out in shambolic style, also picked up £50 for finishing eighth.

Norrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sir Farking Donkeys has gone ABOVE me in the league. At least he has until this month's tournaments played figure is added in. It's all getting very close on the clown front.

I do like the idea of them having to form a group and auditioning for X Factor.
These side bets are all a bit Gavin Smith-Ally Whassisface but do add a bit of spice innit.

Not much of a forfeit if it's fun surely. auditioning for x factor = living the dream imo.

I refer you to my earlier request to reinstate the dropouts from way down the league table. No way in a million years I'm auditioning for bloody x factor.

How about a night out with that guy at our table yesterday, the one what was wearing shades and headphones. Or is that too harsh of a punishment?

The league elders have deliberated for about five seconds long and hard over this proposal and have agreed to let you have another player compete on your behalf.
However, they have stipulated that you MUST choose from the following list of Luton players:

Avi D'Fish
Danny D'Fish
USADennis
Seb
The Ruppinator

Just shut your mouth - just shut it. I play at the Victoria and I know everything so you might as well just shut your mouth.
I can't believe there as not been any reference to that story yet!!

Seb is back?

He made an appearance a couple of weeks ago by all accounts. Wish he would come back.

Put a full match report up last night briefly Ding but then decided against it.
Prob my fault for provoking him in the first place. I can't resist mini-pops at these oh so serious dudes in Bose half-eggs, baseball caps and shades these days.
Occasionally you're gonna catch a live one though innit.
He provided some top quotes though...

1. "I play at The Vic and we don't do it that way there."
2. "YOU'RE WRONG! I just got a ruling (from coco pops)."
3. "Dealer, can you ask him to shut his mouth." If only I'd said anything. LOL

Sigh - ok I'll give it a bit of depth...

At my table, we are in a pot together, I have QJ and on a Q high board. I bet out, he flat calls. Turn - not sure where i am but I bet (I think) he goes all in for about 5 times the pot at least. I insta fold and he starts the verbal 'i thought you were strong there and had a set why didn't you call' etc etc. he shows 2 pair. I point out that if he thought I had a set why would be bet all in beause he was behind and knew he would get a call.....falls on deaf ears.

So we are in another pot - i have miraculously ignored his pouting and attempted phil ivey looks as he surveys the table with wide eys and an open mouth, as he sits there with his bose headphones on....I'm finding him funny and not biting.

I have raise with nowt under the gun, he has called. despite my attemps to get him off the pot he's called whern I've bet and at the end there is a straight on the board. he now pushes all in, he is either playing the board or the jack to make the higher straight. i have - ahem.

I am dwelling, he then starts in at Chompy telling him he has to shut his mouth as he can't say what he just said and has a real go at him.  The guy has his earphones on so how he managed to hear Chompy but we didn't is interesting. Disappointingly Chompy keeps his cool and the guy apologises and delighted that I have folded tells me gleefully he had nothing. Okeydokey. Again I fail to bite. I'm not donking off my chips to anyone, I want to stay on this table and watch the show.

Very amusing/bizarre behaviour, I'm sure his mother loves him, although i doubt that his father knows him.
