I'm so tempted to award bonus points to Holdyfoldy for zzzzz'ing Sir Donksalot's 5000-word tournament report. I assume that's what the zzzzz was for Holdy? WP ma’am.
Otherwise, it was standard Sunday stuff at the Luton Indian burial site, Luther getting outclassed in the £5 rebuy, Sir Donkeys donking off early, me losing races, Lucky doing best of the leaguers but not quite cashing, MDD and British Gas running like a dream. And so on.
Good old Das though. I was on his table innit and he tried to force me to take a crisp £50 note, the 10% from the Vic that I said don't worry about, as soon as I sat down.
If I'd had Mrs Fayed's top on he'd have forced it down my cleavage. It's just nice to see someone keen to pay up a 10% imo.

Only ever made one deal.....cost me £2400 and I vowed never again. I did pay up the following day though.....matter of personal pride not to make the person cocerned ask for their money

The thing with this 10% with British Gas was that he only made £220 profit. £22? Meh...
When me and Celtic swap 10% I only pay 10% of the profit. It's impossible to know as yet what would happen in the event of Celtic cashing but prob the same thing.
This is the right way innit?
I've done really badly out of 10% swaps the last few years but still like doing them for a bit of interest.

how depressed were you that the card room closed at 4.  all we needed was another 30 mins

what was even funnier was after he cashed in his chips, and said he was going home, I saw him stumble over to roulette and get blacks lol

was +585 in the end, woulda been a lot nicer if my nutz didn't run into your nutz tho GRRRRR

A hand I enjoyed last night.

Got moved to the table Dean had vacated, seated between Jim McBride and Danny D.

A few hands in and MDD is almost felted. Next hand at 200/400 he is all in blind for his remaining 125 chips.

3 limpers (including Mrs Al Fayed) and I find two black aces. I raise to 1,600 and get 2 callers (including Mrs Al Fayed). Jim tells me 1,600 isn't enough to get rid of people on this table!

The flop is 5 5 Q.  Mrs A-F announces an insta all -in, and assuming she cant have a 5, I call almost as quickly. The other caller gets out of the way.

Cards on their backs and to his surprise, MDD has the two red aces! More importantly (for me at least), Mrs A-F has Q 10. The ten on the river has her believing her two pairs win until we point out that I have aces and fives!

I win a big pot and MDD splits the side pot to survive!

That was my high point though. Messed up two hands later on to go out in around 18th place.
