I have a miserable night generally with the only highlight being called by a lady with a 9 on a A99Ax board when I over-bet shove the river [with the A obv]. SWEEEEEEET.

Time passes and I then get moved into the seat to the right [fook!!!!] of the sissy-illian (is that how you spell it?), who unfortunately falls a while later to Mr Raymond Danks (v nice fella). Dean had a huge hand and got unlucky IMO.

A short while later I lose the clash of the Darrens when my shove walks into the AK of Athy,

Usual quality last night some of it LOL....

2 young guys who were friends at the other end of the table would limp call pretty much any raise..eg limp utg + 1 for 100.. someone raises to 600 !  call Lol... his hand at showdown 10 7 os..  LOL gg Wp...

That is of course until i standard raise with aces and every body folds FFS inc limp call boy who is in the BB and folds with money invested...sigh FML  later 2 limper's and limp boy raises i have him and the 2 limper's well covered and i move them in with JJ ... i know limp boys calling but i need to clear the decks with JJ... he duly calls his stack off with Q 10 os... nice... flop Q Q 8.... now that's called the deck taking the piss... finally got the measure of them and was raping them with positional raises and Cbets when they limp called missed..so com...

Then 2 shorties get moved to my right left one who is Gibraltar..time to pillage with abandon... folded to me OTB ..9 5 os seems a reasonable starting hand...200-400.. i make it 2k to go they have about 2.5k each..Gibraltar follows orders..bb makes a stand with q10 ... my fav hand at the mo... and holds up despite me turning an up and downer...next hand folded to me ..i have AK..and one of my limp call boys in the BB..beautiful setup..Ive just shown 9 5 os ... i make it the same 2k.. he calls lol.....flop is 10 J J..he checks....i decide to peel the free turn as i have noticed he likes to call with a 10 in his hand... the turns a blank and he leads which doesn't make a lot of sense... i call looking to move in on the river if he checks a blank... the river obliges and he moves in....lol... i fold and ask what hand he can call a 5 x raise op that contains a 10... he insists he had pocket 10's for the flopped boat...in the end with the betting pattern and my luck i believe him....

Then same limp call boy limps utg folded to me otb...its pointless raising without a monster as he will call anyway.. i have 10 5 and limp...my cards here are totally irrelevant and if one of the short blinds wants to move then i'll just throw it away.. i have already limped along with LCall and took it away on the flop 3x and its a play that seems effective..he has to hit to continue and I will just continue to gorge on his chips as long as he wants...the blinds come along and we see a flop of 4 6 7 rainbow..not bad for 10 5...sb checks.. bb bets ...LCall folds...i give the BB some kind of pair and call behind..sb then moves in and after a dwell bb moves in as well....LOL... Oh how do i get myself into these situations.. I get the dealer to pull the pot in and give the highest count ...3900 to call from my 8K remaining..i count the pot 14.5K !!!!  Oh FFS....up and down on a rainbow board with an over that may be good..... i want to fold.. i really do..but its impossible to pass up that much money... I call... sb has q 5 bb a7..turns an ace to blow my over out of the water and the rivers a blank..i lose the side pot to Q high...just once god let me bink and scoop ..just once thats all i ask...

I tilt off my last 8BB to Ray who does work for my company who limps early for 400 with 77 and i move in for  3k total with the power house of 9 4 sooooted...i give him the speech i know his tight and his early limp must mean he has a monster...the reverse psychology is wasted and he calls...and unlike the good players i of course miss wide....so there we go  came about 15th played ok but didnt have that little bit of luck required to dodge all the ropey play...

2 hands i have to report ...on a 10 4 4 flop mr Lcall bets and is re raised...he flats  turn is a 10... and i think to myself you fucking lucky bastard ! he checks before he comes in his pants.. and the bloke checks behind him...river is a K and Lcal boy moves in..other guy sighs keeps muttering i cant give em up.. i mentally scream at him FOLD !!!!!!!..he calls with QQ...FFS just LOL m8 just LOL...so bad

and one of the Lcall boys... the worst one actually limps utg +1 for 200...theres a shove for 2.5k and an insta call... he then has a dwell whether to call..ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME..what hand can you limp with that you would consider calling an allin and an insta call with... finally he folded..prob folded 10 J ..wot a cock..lol

Nope, no scorers again last night. Just the 40 runners and only the top four paid by the look of it.
Don't know where all the Lutoners were. There were only three regs playing the £300 at The Vic - myself, Lalit and British Gas.
British Gas returns at 2pm this afternoon (19 left, 17 paid) with 50,000, which is around average. GL Gassy.

Last night - I made steady progress through a piss-poor turnout onto the last two tables, then       ........         blinds 300/600, Hamed utg raises to 2k, flat call by next guy, I look down at Pocket Pair   .....         all-in for 11k     .....       folded round to Hamed, insta call     .....        2k flat call folds     ......        a look of shock - and an audible groan - as H sees his 'massive' pair of eights is actually behind to my paired Chumpycrackers (the clue in the re-raise of 9k having seemingly got lost in the ether)      .....      grimace soon turned to grin, as an 8 hit the board        .......       as I departed, I thought I could detect a smugness in H's face    ......     as he'd 'obviously played that hand well', really!

I really am starting to think/believe there are probably better poker players in the comps the 'wrong' side of £50 at Luton nowadays      ........

Luton Sunday arrives and the best comp of the week... due to get better next month with a new 10k starting stack...but never fear there will still be shouts of 'SEAT' at 25-50.... mine probably LOL...

Anyway was about half an hour late as had my beautiful girls this weekend although one of them does look very much like me... poor sod ..still daddy will prob be able to afford plastic surgery by the time you turn 18...  I jest of course..they are both gorgeous..shame their mums stark staring mad... but that's a whole other stroll down nightmare lane and not for the ears of all you sensitive souls..

On the way up the M1 i begin to feel what is best termed as 'shit'... lovely lady in my life has been dying with some form of swine flu for a week and a half and i thought my immunity was solid... of course i stood next to her for 30 seconds today and I reach Luton sniffing and headachey..  Sounds like you've got a cold Deano says Jimbo McBride as I c bet bluff him... I nod ...yeah so fold or I'll sneeze over you..i reply ....he chuckles and throws them away...

The play is slow and I'm card dead .I make some positional raises with marginals and get away c betting mainly Ace high flops...fortunately the tables fairly passive despite MDD,Edna and Jimbo McBride present...

A late arrival turns up in the form of Mrs Al Fayed ( thus called i assume for her swarthy complexion and penchant for Cleopatra style eye make up.... she and her husband frequent the G tourneys and rival Mr & Mrs Pham for the worst poker playing married couple in Christendom...
She plonks herself to my left in seat 10 adorned in her usual low cut top exhibiting a tattoo carved into the top of her left breast.. i have a quick squizz trying to work out what it is but dont dally with the gaze as Ive been told staring at women's tits is rude...

Anyway off we go and folded to me in the cutoff i give it a little tickle with 10 J and get called by carry on Cleo and the BB... we see an A 10 3 2 spade flop..BB dutifully checks and i fire 2nd pair...Cleo calls and peels a spade on the turn...sigh..just her range that as 2 hands earlier i see her chase a flush to the river...I'm now op with 2nd pair to a flushey fish..marvelous... i check to her and get it checked back to me which really confused me...river sees a queen and it goes check check and she turns over QJ no spade.... ' i was going for the straight ' she informs me. I glance at her sideways and sigh..' so i see '.... Sneezing over her was def an option that crossed my mind..

Finally i pick up a hand QQ with a limper in front of me.. i make a 4x raise and pick the button up whose got more rock in her than Mrs Balboa...limpy comes along for the ride and we see an ace high raggy flop..limpy checks and i take a reasonable shot and get inst called by the button.....my shutters come down and the shop is closed for another day..bizarrely she decides to check A Q to the river and beyond..thanks love...not that another dime of my money was going your way..

I'm holding station but beginning to feel worse..the break saves me and i seek out the G's own pharmacy known as Edna... she gives me a couple of prescription co codomols with the warning that they are strong and not to drink with them... Ive seen these puppies before..my ex used to swallow em like smarties..i took a couple once..my vision was blurred for 3 hours...
Still u only live once and if i cant see my cards properly it may improve my game.

A few hands after the break and utg + 1 raises to 750 at 100-200..his been fairly active..he looks familiar and he knows a few regs but i cant place him..he picks up a caller and i look down at J J...
I don't fancy this multiway and would be happy with the pot now...i jack it up to 3K..that will do nicely ty very much...+ 1 insta moves in.. i mean he literally injured himself getting them in.... FML...  I take a big dwell..the tables playing soft i still have over 5K and if this bloke hasn't got me wrapped up I'm Derek Van Bliet the Dutchman..... I can almost hear a unison of Shrewdie voices... ' Shove you cock '.... I let it go and contemplate what would have been more painful..letting the hand go like a girlie wuss or slamming my chap in the jam of a door 97 times.... its close..but i make a mental note i don't have to do the door slamming experiment to prove the point scientifically.. + 1 assures me he had Kings....it does little to console me...

The hand bounces around my head for ages.... and I sit impassive as I see the regs play out their usual afternoon at the G..Edna flops a middle flush and gets paid by Cleo who turns 2 pair...then MDD who got battered around a bit limp calling as usual, moves in after a raise and a call... 10 10 finally calls and MDD shows AK...flop is A K * turn A...MBSFN......MDD shrugs takes it in his stride, business as usual for the blessed...

Finally at 150-300 i have a min raise to my imm right and i decide to call with KJ hearts..... Y ? I have no fucking idea..all i can say in my defence is that either the drugs or the germs were winning and my head wasn't quite there.. we pick up the Sb and lucky Jim in the BB..flop is J 10 7 rainbow and jimbo leads into the min raiser for 2K..its a big bet and one that shouts go away..the initial raiser obliges...i dont have much more than the 2k and i think I have more wins v Jimbo's range here....in it goes and LJ turns over 10 7 o/s.....i was already half way out of my seat..i am never binking against LJ and so it played out.....and another inauspicious afternoon slips into the memory...

I take a wander over to Chompy and take solace that his getting dry humped by the deck as well....
he exiting shortly after i arrive home.. so there you go...one day ...maybe one day...

Played the freezeout / super satellite at my new residence last night......three seats.....four left.......average stack 45000,,,,me in big blind for 8000 with 25000 behind. Shortstack on the button with 15000.......folds to small blind who has played quite tight at the final table.....raises 8000 with about 60000 behind. I wake up with  . Should I reraise. The seat is 200 squid. The money goes 65, 95, 145, 285........should I fold or reraise?

I of course fold and show the table what I have folded.....looks of incredulity all round. Short stack looks crushed by my foldability. Small blind shows  . Next hand utg the shortstack goes all in and gets called by the big blind for the extra 7k.....ticket won.....happy days
