uv played more than 7 this month chomps...

No I haven't. four Sundays, two Thursdays and a Monday. Didn't go this Thursday coz of Masterchef final and Betfair-induced sulk. I am outraged at this slur, just outraged...

Enjoyed it last night, apart from being disgustingly slowrolled with AK. That is all.

Nah, that wasn't a slow roll, not like that time versus James van Alstayne...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr   ......    Lazy Sunday Afternoon(an) and all was going swimmingly at the G.

Playing beautifully - as usual - and up to 30k plus through carefully sniping at the Apaches circling in the pass, with a deadly accuracy.

Then Chumpy puts in a pathetic raise to try to steal the blinds, and has the temerity to go all in to my slegehammer re-raise, with his usual nothing!

Expecting my AK to be 'greeted' by 9 3, or J 7, imagine my shock (and his) when Weld On showed A A    ......

Totally unperturbed - as we all know Graham only enters tournaments to make up the numbers - I assumed a dignified posture and waited for the dealer to produce the required Q J 10, KK, KKK, or runner runner hearts to send the usurper back to his Barratt's 'Ye Olde Country Cottage' in that recently drained area of marshland near Peterloo.

Then the unbelievable happened     .....      GW won a race at Luton!

I stumbled off into the threatening gloom of a Luton evening, managing to get to the motor without being mugged, nor even accosted by beggars, and drove home in a near catatonic state of shock.

Upon consulting the AWOP results and seeing that not only did Chumpy go onto cash, but Mr Rodgers has emerged from two years of drought and won the whole shebang, I have been desperately phoning every listed number in Yellow Pages trying to get an emergency Counselling session.

The phuqqin World's gone mad, I tell you!

Well done Graham    ...

This is live poker mate, some dumb donk auto-assumed you must have a pair and did he want to gamble with his 7 big blinds as he might get AA in the next 3 orbits or KK to gamble with....

I can confirm that the slow roll went on for so long the dealer nodded off.

No sign of lalit at final, it was a night of good players going out near the bubble and the bad ones luck boxing and slow rolling there way on to the FT.

Yup    .....        but only to the happy couples of Pham, and Al Fayed.

anyone know if lalit did good last night?

Nope, the Grand Master failed to cash     .......

Surely - being the Furniture of Poker - you can tear yourself away from robbing dumbass City traders on Betfair for a minute to peruse the results page on AWOP, Alex?

How can you remember George     ......      you were in a Chumpy - "let's put a bit of thought into it" - induced deep sleep, weren't you?

Re: the AK last night. I am off to Vegas a week tomorrow and am trying to get my A-game going again. It's fine operating at 30% capacity v Luton dunks but I need to start upping the quality levels if it's to be a successful trip.
Ergo, I'm trying to get some table rhythm back, the sort of rhythm required for playing against a higher-calibre opponent. Sir Donksalot will confirm how tough it can be to cash in Vegas.
Normally I would have snap smooth flat rim jammed the obv weak re-shove from random donk last night and it was clearly not a slow roll anyway. Had I looked down at AA I would have slow rolled but AK was a genuine decision.
I like to bet ace king correctly, so as I can get off the hand when someone re-re-rises. Not just sledgehammer 17k in over the top of a finesse-full 4.6k bet...

He managed to complete a Sudoku but then seemed flummoxed by the 0-99 double-figure uber-Sudoku. Indeed, he took out his frustration by drawing round the edges of a few chips over the puzzle to make a pretty pattern, and then colouring it in.

Come, come, Mr Chimpy, according to the Poker Reference Bible (c/o Jesse May Ch4/5 Teach Yourself Poker in Five Easy Lessons with Geezer Frazer, and Yeehah Helpless) that iz wot I iz supposed to do, innit?

I believe the only reason my admirably aggressive shove - unluckily - failed is that I am not a Chirpy Cockernee Chappy, nor a poe faced famous Skandyknavian (who's bestest mates with a fat bloke wot is a Werewolf).

If you don't repent I'm gonna phone up that online poker show, that no-one tunes in to, and broadcast your heresy on the world wide web!

So there     .......
