So, anyway, this Norwegian dude comes up to me recently and tells me I probably have too much time on my hands. I think he could be right.

Overheard at Luton tonight.

"***** (well-known blonde) plays poker with total predictability - he's as predictable as a porn movie".

Name the subject of that comment. (NOT the guy who said it, purlease!).

i laughed a lot when i heard this. And i wasn't even at luton tonight!!!!

Yeah, I heard it got Texted to half of Bedfordshire!

As analogies go, an interesting one, it's fair to say.

I suppose from 3 move dick this is a compliment LOL... now I know why I cant win anything... everyone knows what im doing...considering I don't know half the time this is an exceptional read..look out for the 4 high bluff coming to an MDD somewhere soon....

Woo woo, poor player finishes second alert, woo woo. After disgracefully calling Dan de Luca's all-in with 2 5 soooooted and turning the straight, Celtic, who clearly has a secret admirer in Laxie, went on to finish a fine second. Also, another seven points for Lucky for his second fourth in recent times. WP everyone.

Three league players present Monday night and two of them made the final five. I'm struggling to recall who the third chap was - he was only there very briefly, albeit sporting a tan that looked like it may have been picked up in somewhere like, ooh I don't know, Dubai?
Six points for yours truly and, amazingly, another nine points for Celtic, who's on the run of a lifetime. 'That's three final tables in a week' came the blatant brag before he was finally sent crashing.
At some stage myself and Celtic probably need to stop re-popping each other every ten minutes with 2 6 and other such guff. It's not big or clever, and it certainly isn't multi-dimensional.
Either way, in a surprising turn of events Celtic has usurped Winkie at the top of the table for the time being. Sir Donksalot will NOT be happy.

* Highlight of the night
WPIL betting 2500 utg (out of 5500) with the blinds at 200-400 and folding to a re-raise with A9, thus sending young Gary Banks into fits of laughter innit.

*Embarrassing moment of the night
Me saying 'Ian, Ian, Ian, can you move round a bit' to Lee Barber. Whoever planted that Ian Bell lookalike in my brain has a lot to answer for.

* Annoyance of the morning
Finding my name on the results page showing as Graham Wheldon 'Medium Rare'. This is not just like being back at school, this is like being back at primary school ffs. I've a fair idea who's to blame. I'm looking in your direction Bobalike...

Did Mrs Phan, Yoda, Hamed and John Fonseca and the Marquis Of Luton join in with the chorus? On one of the toughest tables ever assembled in Luton? Surely even Sir Donksalot came through that line up with plenty of chips and his first ever league points? Has Alex landed his shrewd punt, £1 at 10-1? All will be revealed in the morning...
