Chompy, a question about joining this League of yours for 2010     ........

Are the rumours true that mine - and Rockstar's - admittance are subject to 'certain' conditions?

We will not accept anything over the minus 60 points handicap mooted     ......      as we consider it could take right till the end of February to lead the field!

Could you please clarify The Blondeite Handiclapping System, to put our minds at rest?

Sigh.
Entry rights may be revoked at any stage.
You don't seem to realise, this is the PROPER league, not that guff nationwide jobbie run by the G.
You are now taking on some of the game's GREATS.
Let's just see how Messrs Loofer, Gassy, Alien and Rocky get on when the REAL pressure begins on 1 January eh innit?

No no no Mr Chumpy, u don't seem to realise that us new boyz is gonna piss it, innit.

I can't comment on BG as I don't know him, but clearly Rockstar wins every other tourney he plays, The Loofer normally gets either 2nd or 3rd, and the number of savers that I pick up in a year is 2nd to none (I have read the small print and note that these are worth triple points).

Yoooz lot should therefore be scared for 2010.....IMO.

And once I speak to my mate Diddly Tiddly / eazy come eazy go / KK / "any two" / Shanghai kid, and get him on-board then we've got a dream-team to exterminate u old timers.

All we'd need is Pinot Grigio, and we'd be untouchable.

In preparation for Jan 1st made sure of a money back saver for tonights 9th place

Was good to see Niall back after kidney stones op

46 for tonights comp, def downturn in general numbers and faces recently

Hopefully the combination of the new schedule and Nialls return will see the numbers rise to previous levels

i think ( and i may be wrong) that a chunk of the tuesday, thursday & friday players now go on a wednesday only, therefore reducing the numbers in the other comps.

Thoughts?

Welcome to Blonde by the way Adrian.

Thanks m8

You may be correct, the wednesdays ive played in have had a big smattering of former nailed on tuesday nighters

I guess its the 1k plus winners cheque that they feel  is better value

Pity the structure kills any edge you may have

Generally though, quite a few decent players at the lower levels i know of are giving the place a miss at the moment

Welcome to Blonde by the way Adrian.

I think that people are mixing up their attendance at the mo due ot the changes to the schedule. Once everyone has worked out which tourneys they like [new or old], it should settle down, and become more obvious as to wot night will be the most popular. I personally think that Wednesday night has had it's day. I for one no longer see it is a "good" comp, so don't attend.

yarp. Internet normally wins for me phil.

No travel, bigger prize pools, no head-butts, can put kids to bed, can play in my pants (can't do that at loooton), can live up to my second name - SirDrinksAlot - without worry of old bill getting me on lower Luton rd, can multiple game/table, etc etc

But if I did that all the time I'd never see yoooz lot, innit.

prop true phil but online is just so more accessible and convenient - for me anyway.
I can't justify going to Luton every nite but I can play online every nite no prob.
And is it about fun or making money?
For me it's the latter, but obv good to have fun too!

Of course if i was playing for the money then i would have to play cash online. It's just not for me though. I do have tremendous adniration for those who have the discipline to do it.

Mr Tearle texted me to say the Tuesday mob were much tougher to crack than the final three were a couple of weekends ago.

Half eight, 30mins, 8,000 chips, pretty close to perfection.
