Ty all.

I've often said " I'd rather be lucky than good!"

Last night though, I felt, in all modesty, that I was both lucky and good

Well done Lucky!

No Points, for me I'm afraid, I ran KK into AA & that was that. A further 45 minutes elapsed before I could extract my Car from the Car Park, pfft.

I did manage to get Dave Johnson to Pass QQ pre-Flop though, but I'm sure my jacks would have Setted.

Good to see so many friends there last night, & my Table was reasonably well-humoured.

American Dennis was on the next Table, & I was delighted to observe he no longer Table Bangs when he wins a pot. Now he stands up & claps himself loudly. Did you ever see a man with less class? And yes, I have said that to him.

The Plasma was 10 players behind all night, (that's just sloppy) & they still cannot start on time after breaks - "there are some players not back yet" (!), but I just like the people down there, & thst includes Niall & Nina.

I chatted with Nina & Niall, both asked me why I had been absent from Luton, & I told them both, politely but honestly, I can't be doing with the constant aggro, the drunken-ness, the drug dealing in the bogs, & the fighting. But Nina told me they had now put a notice up saying it was not allowed. Most reassuring.

Anyway, I did enjoy it last night, & if the wheels fall off in tonight's Brighton £500, I may be back on Sunday for the £100.

Well done Alan. What time did it finish?

Thanks.  I saw you raise your eyebrows at USA Dennis a couple of times too !

It got worse on the final table when he proudly and loudly farted a couple of times. Fortunately he bust out soon after!

Finished just after 5 am.

Indeed.

Phil's  "Sir, you have a lot of class you just hide it well" kept coming to mind last night.

Sure hid it well.

I'd just like to say that i've had a really entertaining day at work after finding this thread this morning. I'd obviously heard of Blonde but had no idea there were so many Blondites who play in Luton!

A word about my name, hilariously funny i'm sure you'll agree. Its actually Greg "Symons", but one of the lads who also plays at the G occasionally is called Adam Munson or Muns, and often does exasperating things, hence "Greg Sigh-Muns."

Just another one of those inspired decisions that seems extremely clever at the time. A bit like 3 betting with 89 suited.

Looking forward to attempting to make a late run on your league, and maybe bouncing some hands off a few of you that occur at our fun-house that is the G.

Another potential new leaguer for the 2010 campaign has entered the building...

Hello Greg, I don't think we've met.

Come and say hello next time you are there. I'm the one folding all the time and looking miserable.
