The G Casino Luton will run an Omaha event alongside day two of the APAT European Amateur Championship main event, starting at 3.30pm on Sunday.  The buy will be £20 + £5, with players starting with 5,000 chips on a 30 minute clock.  The field will be capped at 60 runners and any players who add their names to this list will be allocated the first seats.  Full player name please.

from apat. No reason why you can't enter, but I would expect it to fill from APAT people

please help tighty whereabouts on the forums is this list i cant find it!!

I can't work Sunday night too!

Have already made plans to go out.

Before anyone asks imo, there will be no points awarded for APAT stuff and it therefore won't count as a tournament played.

There an Omaha comp on Sunday as well:

£20  FO   +£5
Desler dealt
3.30pm
Winner also gets entry to the £250 Pot Limit Omaha comp on Weds 2nd Dec 8pm

No idea of starting stack, it doesnt say on this leaflet.

G said they were trying to arrange an evening comp this Saturday. Not sure how def that is, or just talk of it??

but to enter the Omaha you have to put your name down on the thread on the APAT forum

It's an APAT side event

Not what staff were telling peeps last night, handing out leaflets for it as well???

Oh well, bang goes that idea then, off to the Vic for cash games then  Grin

whats going on with this then? potential problems for sure with apat claiming this is an apat event and the g advertising it as there event.

communication problem somewhere looks like it could lead to some very unhappy people on sunday!!

someone already has asked, and you answered........

I do however have a question for the league elder. Does the APAT tourney at the G on the 21st count???

I don't see why not Snat. The 100+-player bonus will be in place too.

Presumably the G are the one's who will actually be taking the registrations - so it'll be more likely to be first come first served rather than anything to do with the APAT list won't it?

My guess is that APAT suggested it to the G, and whilst they were going through the 'we'll take a list of names etc speech' whoever they were talking to at the G was nodding along, not really listening, thinking 'that's actually a good idea, let's get some leaflets done'.

I can confirm, having checked, that the first 50 spaces are reserved for APAT players, hence the list.

It is 100% an APAT event first and foremost, requested by us and put on by the casino.
