Afraid to disappoint you Vinny but, in everybody's eyes, for overall game-reading ability and success-rate, Chompy is the BPIL by some way. Dean Morris just about makes my top 130." - GMan, 26 October 2009

Where did u get 130 --- thats being generous!!!!!!

Deans results speak for themselves......

Id class top 3 finishes in a much higher class than making 7,8 and 9th when at a final

Dean easily makes top 10 best players in Luton

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, ty George, some feedback.
I think it's a runner and will put the 50 players' prices up in a couple of weeks, so that folk can start picking their teams.
HOWEVER, If Mr Unimaginative picks Sir Donksalot for his fantasy team, his place in the 2010 league will be in jeopardy it seems.
The elders called an emergency meeting late this afternoon at the municipal - sweaty Terry was at the Barnet match and not pleased at having to open the sauna - following your comments on here, and the vote went seven to three in favour of disqualifying you from future leagues.
But I pleaded your case, telling them you are new breed and potential future of poker material, and they've agreed to give you a second chance. But be warned...

That is an excellant idea Chompster

Gonna give you a lot more work though imo

Still, being home most evenings from around 9.50pm you will have plenty of time to carry out league duties

Don't mind the extra time spendage imo. I'm ridicu-happy to do the updating.
I've already got my team in mind...
Obv the exp players will be the ones that frequent the G most often. I'll verify my player prices with league minion Celtic before unleashing them, but you'll be somewhere around the £4m mark Mr Jovi.

Credit where its due

They should not charge you any juice for any comp you enter for the way you promote and publicise that cardroom for them

But then again that would envolve a bit of P.R. so thats never gonna happen

Am in self-emposed exile at present

But will be back refreshed and ready for the League when it commences

78 registered so far Ian - let's hope there's not a 'late rush'     .......       we wouldn't want your guaranteed £25 put in jeopardy.

Yesterday - I entered the weird and wonderful world of the APAT, and ended up almost enjoying it.

It really was unsettling - playing against opponents that ranged from very accomplished, to those that wouldn't have a hope in hell in a Rileys Five Pound Freezeout - trying to fathom out the plays, at the beginning (middle/end)   ....     however with Tighty/Colchester Kev salivating over a certain piece of  Kraut Crumpet in the room (oooooooooh those legs), it almost felt like a GUKPT Main Event.

While all around were being gifted huge amounts of chips - I continually ran my stack into people that continued to call with third pair on the flop, until they eventually got ahead come the river.

Going down to 4k I ground away like a Thai whore and (after a mere six hours play) was into 'dreamland'   ....     getting above the starting stack!

Overdrive was engaged and the 30k mark was soon hit, and I was feeling reasonably confident about kicking on to the higher echelons.

Then inexplicably a Donkfest, of Wednesday night proportions, suddenly broke out and players with 15/20/30 x the BB began shoving their stacks in with absolute shite to gain very little, and often lose the lot     .....      Chimpy Utopia       .....        a Rockstar/Luther101 phuqqin nightmare!

I eventually bowed out in circa 42nd position - my full house getting 'duffed up' - towards the end of level 10 and left Alan 'Golden Bollox' McBride to carry the locals' flag (hopefully to victory    ....      gl Lucky).

I will definitely play the APAT again - some very nice people, showing some very nice etiquette/sportmanship     .....     something that USADennis The Menace et al could learn ooooooooooodles from - and the main thing that struck me was     .....      how high the (general) standard in weekly tournaments really is at our very own G (too bleedin' high some might muse)!

We moan like phuqq about all the BBs/bad play/bad players/bad luck/botched hyster(ia)ectomies up at Lootown    ....      but it's probably one of the best cardrooms in the country!

OK, stars of poker, it's time to start getting those November tournaments played totals in, when you know what you'll have played up to and including next Sunday (the 30th is a Monday but this prob won't get enough runners again to count imo).
No final tablists tonight, myself and Holdyfoldy going closest but no cigarage.
Elsewhere points for Snatty and Mr McBink for their APRAT exploits. 1pt + 5pts for A.S.N.A.T., 6pts + 5pts for A.L.A.N.
