Congratulations to Chompy who took the lions share of a chop tonight with me and two others

He binked everything off the ceiling from 8 out, remarkable form shown

congrats to chompy & tight end, obv only won because the sicilian couldn't make it, therefore weakening the field.

Updated up to and including Wed 6 May (no scorers Tuesday night)

I am now not including my tournaments played until the end of each month

They are still not able to check how many everyone has played on the Luton system yet but apparently it remains in the pipeline

28 of the best from the Beds, Bucks and Cambs area, including Dennis Barnes, Trevor Webber and that Egyptian fella'n'his wife, descended on the Luton G on Wednesday night. It truly was the creme de le crap.

Mr C.Hompy and Mr T.End came in search of easy league points while the Chelsea thing was on TV and, not since the days of the A-Team, has a plan come together so sumptuously.

Nine points go to Mr End to take him above Mr S.Iramas and into the magical threes.

Meanwhile, Mr Hompy arrived at the final table with a mere 10,500 chips. Despite this, however, he was not in favour of paying out sixth through ninth. "Poker is all about going for the win", he was heard to say as the wanky final table cards took to the air.

Despite little luck and nothing in the way of binkage, Mr Hompy ground away and eventually took the win plus the hefty 15-point reward.

Sir Donksalot is one oversized comedy shoe away from meeting his New Year's Destiny...

Never has a member of the C Hompy family been so keen to agree £50 for 6th-9th. To watch the grovelling and the arse-licking before it was agreed was nauseating.

He then proceeded to play flawless poker luckbox his way to an impregnable position having sat there tighter than a tight thing for five hours waiting to find Aces.

Clearly the old skool principles on which the game was founded and should still be played have rubbed off on him

Afraid not, what a night it was.

Down to 7,300 at the final table with the blinds at 800-1600, Egypt limps in, so I obv have to ship with Q7 off. He makes an awful call with 55 and the first card is a genuine binkage moment, a lovely 7. WP imo. More to follow...

The following items are on sale at Enfield Shoes'R'Us, just 5mins walk from the Municipal.

No.

He hits the final short-stacked

His exhibition of poker went as follows

blinds 600-1200 Mohammed Al Fayed proceeds to limp UTG out of a 13,000 stack

Mr Hompy eyes up the situation, and sees a soft spot..and shoves. Back to the Pharaoh from Cairo who ponders and eventually calls off 80% of his stack with

Over to C.Hompy. He must be in great shape. AK maybe? JJ? Well played sir

With a sickly smile, albeit comforted that his league points are assured he flips

Flop  x

There goes the first double up

Play continues and we're down to six. He's won a further two races to move towards the chip lead and has been thieving with impunity

He raises again. Trevor flat calls next to him

Mr C.Hompy bets the  three diamonds flop big. Instantly, and with all the humility and good manners to which all his opponents have become accustomed the Webbed one raises a goodly amount. The stacks are reasonably equal, they are the two chip leaders, and Mr C.Hompy tanks

"You must have hit a set. You've setted"

He is clearly preparing to pass with such a firm read

but no! "All-in" he says and the Webbed one beats him into the pot with  . Fantastic read C.Hompy. Shame you completely ignored it

Hompy flips his  and proceeds to bink the  on the turn to leave him in an unassailable position

His coup de grace is then to knock out Jock Megadonkg in 5th in a blind on blind confrontation. His  in the small saw a  flop.

He checks, Megadonk bets his 7x, C.Homp check raises and only C.Homp could then get the donation of Megasonk still thinking his seven is ahead, and pushing.

C.Homp now has 120,000 of the 210,000 in play and very graciously agrees a deal with us short-stacked peasants. Borne of a lack of confidence in playing a big stack short-handed no doubt. It's been that long.

Well played sir, luckbox.

Hmm, a fair summary probably.
Except I bet the flop v TW7 and he rised all in. It had set written all over it but I had aces. Not just one ace but two of the buggers! Can't pass that. I call.
Missing hand alert - rise utg with Q10, Pharoah goes all in out of the BB for not much more. Flop 10 10 x.
Why do I always run so bad?
