Ooooo we could play guess the beat... but it was runner runner heart without pairing the board which is some feat, got him to put his whole stack in with 00.1% chance of winning.. i'm so good at getting them to do this..and losing.... his reaction...he was a mixed race guy with cornrolls..young..here comes the stereo type...ready..... directed at the dealer at the top of his voice

Wow, what a final table! There was Tikay, Tighty, Snatimaras, but there were some good players too. Dave Johnson, Gary Banks, Chompy. Quality personified it was.
Snatty and Tighty each played at least one hand each during the final, in between chats about rugby, and 5pts and 7pts respectively mean they now sandwich Celtic. A pleasing image imo.
Tikay had more hands than MDD during an average week but could only fumble his way into third. His 9pts take him above the all-important top-nine line, though, and leaves Lucky with a bit of work to do to get back among the elite.
12pts for yours truly take me above Winkie and Simon G, into a healthy fourth and one step nearer to seeing Sir Donkalot taking a Mr Benn-like trip to the Enfield Clowns'R'Us store in around seven months' time.

I must say I like this league, well until we tot up the May comps and celtic overtakes us to lead again anyway

Also, good to see changes have been made to the schedule, starting as of June.

The Monday £50x3 has been replaced by a £75 FO, exactly the same as Friday. A splendid move.
Wednesday has also been changed and is now a £50 FO, deepstack with shorter clock. A strange move to alter the best tournament structure of the week imo but apparently numbers have been dropping.
Sunday is now a 5.30pm kick-off instead of 4pm. WP imo, at least a dozen regs can now start attending again.

Hats off to all at the G, it's good to know they listen to players and it gives the regulars a sense of authoritah.

Not a fan of the Wed move, seems an odd one. My favourite night they've halved the prize pool unless numbers soar

Support Mon and Sunday changes though

All in all, good progress I reckon
