5pts for Tikay's filthy Monday night sixth.

I'm proud of everyone this morning.
I'm proud of Tikay for his league angle grinding and getting sixth paid in a (large [EDIT]) field of 11.
I'm proud of Stalactight for blind shoving.
I'm proud of Sir Donksalot for thinking he could get away with playing on Sunday 31 May and not asking me to add it to his number of tournaments played (now added in).
But most of all I'm proud of the farking donkey that knocked me out of the $120 Venetian jobbie last night.

***KQ WHINGE ALERT***

Blinds 400-800 (75), me 18,000 in the BB, Button Donkey 26,000.
Folds to BD.
BD makes it 1,800.
SB folds.
Me AQ. Ooh, a nice hand. Dwell. "I'm all in".
Button thinks.
Hmm, I have 1,800 in, another 16,000 to me, which would leave me with 8,000.
"I call".
King queen off.
X J 9 - X...
Button: "Gimme a ten dealer..."

........bink

"Wooooooooooo"

I think I have seen KQ overplayed more times in the Venetian than in every other cardroom put together.  Not in an "I'll give you a spin" way - an abso-fkin-lutely this is the best hand kind of way.

The fact that it always seems to get there leads me tho think they might be right....

Anyway ~ settle down Chompy and bring back some $$ - I don't want to be paying high street rates now....

It was NOT a field of 11. It was a "large" Field.

I see this was a large field, but I still think it should be half points for small fields (say 25 and under).

Meanwhile, salute our Leader, the organiser of the blonde Legue, Chompster, who looks like cashing big in his first WSOP this year.

If he gets the Bracelet, I vote he gets one Bonus Point in the blonde Luton League.

All those in favour say "aye"......

I disagree. If a field lacks Trevor Webber, Dennis Barnes, British Gas and WPIL its simply not a bracelet worth winning in my opinion.

That said, gl Chompy IMO.

Is Dennis Barnes the guy from Los Angeles with an IQ of 3, who bangs the Table 4 times every single time he wins a Pot?

Another 2pts sees Snatiramas extend he's lead at the top.
No match for the mighty Gotch though - another player what proves tight can be good. Takes the game very seriously does Gotchy. Never gives'em away.

They is farking donks innit.
Moron got a snap reaction from me yesterday when I was in for half my stack at a key stage.
Blinds 200-400, Wie Mu, my new Hawaiian mate, made it 1100, Donkey boy called out of the SB. I have AK in the BB and make it 4500 with 16000 back.
Wee Moo folds. SB has a ponder and then goes all in for 8000 total. With K10. FFS.
First card out a ten. River a pleasing ace.
It just blurted out. I didn't mean to say it was the most idiotic all in I'd ever seen. Meh.

Complete shove monkey antics imo but you remember what this $120 tournament is like (the first couple of levels anyway).
It needs a SM bet to knock the farkers off two pictures. Didn't work this time though.
Plus it was a dealer I don't like and most of the time he can't call.

More guff going up shortly...

I won't be arsing around when I go back for Day 2. We're only 40-odd spots from the cash but I'm not waiting for the bubble before getting at it. Get ready for a 3-9 sooooted horror story imo.
