never seen  overplayed as much as I did in vegas - it's like it's the nuts or something.  sitting 2/6 in a tourney in binions with 5 paid I manage to bubble after donkeyboy's got there vs my AQ Sad

Blinds 200-400, Wie Mu, my new Hawaiian mate, made it 1100, Donkey boy called out of the SB. I have AK in the BB and make it 4500 with 16000 back.
Wee Moo folds. SB has a ponder and then goes all in for 8000 total. With K10. FFS.
First card out a ten. River a pleasing ace.
It just blurted out. I didn't mean to say it was the most idiotic all in I'd ever seen. Meh.

Most of the time they can't call.  This is not one of those times numb nuts.

Stop messing about in Vegas, Update the Luton League, please.

35 runners for tonight's (Wednesday) £50 + £50 jobbie.

5 paid officially, but after some enbarrassing begging by one Sicilian, who just about Finalled, money was agreed down to 9th. Which is where Sicilian exited.

For myself, 2nd place, & £725, + a nice haul of League Points please.

PS - Bring home the Bangle, Boyo.

2 Sicilian Tales from tonight.

After sitting absolutely motionless for 4 Levels, I make it 500 UTG with K-K (bottom of my Range) & pick up FOUR callers. Sicilian then rescues me by shoving all-in with A-J, which isolates me, phew. He gets unlucky, & misses. Happy Days.

Then, on a Flop of 9-7-4, & with Sicilian holding 9-5, geezer holding 9-9-9 bets, Siciliian shoves, & 9-9-9 man snap calls. Tiurn 6, River 8.

Why is he callled Sir Donkalot, one womders?

LOL.....  Hands up to a shameless saver arrangement that garners myself another 2 points in my quest for the greatest comeback since a crying ten year old....

As reported I finally hung the smelliest of outdraws on some poor sod although i actually held 9 7 suited and not 9 5 as quoted by our resident sandy haired octogenarian which i called an OP raiser with in position who had shown a propensity to raise with marginals and then play very weakly post flop... my pickle was chutney flavoured on a 9 high flop that was checked to me.. with 3k in the pot 5k back i couldn't bet and fold so i shipped thinking if he slipped me the over pair i had 5 outs..didn't count on being a 98% dog.. but i hold my hands up.

As for the tikay raise..he said he was utg however he was actually utg + 3 with me dick and strange Egyptian woman in front of him.. he makes a big raise which usually indicates 99 - JJ with Mr blonde.. picks up 4 callers and it comes back to me with in excess of 3K in the pot.. time to represent a limp shove with a monster me thinks as I only have to get through said senile gentleman.. it goes to plan as everyone gets out of the way only for Tikay to mutter to me..' you can only do that with Aces and before that breath has left his body calls me with Kings ...Heh Heh... Then someone pipes up 'with all us calling you must have known some of us had an Ace ' so you call off big bets pre to an earlyish raiser with rag aces do you sir  ? GG WP .. I wasn't actually planning to go to showdown believe it or not...

Apart from that played some nice positional pot raiding before losing 4 6/4's in a row for an early exit... but points mean prizes boys..prob back tonight for more shameless points scraping

Senile Gentleman wished to point out that there was one Limper in already (at 50-100), & given the propensity for calling wide at Luton, I made it 500, a shade over "Pot". Hardly "big", I'd call it "shrewd".

"Sir Donksalot, two points...Le grande donks du noble, deux points.
"Tikay, twelve points. Le pension du peroxide, deuze points"
"Thank you for a marvellous show."

Sir Donksalot wrote...
"Then someone pipes up 'with all us calling you must have known some of us had an Ace' so you call off big bets pre to an earlyish raiser with rag aces do you sir donksalot?

Spot on. Whoever it was goes straight into my top ten poker heroes list at no.7.

Yet more guff going up shortly...

No complaints yesterday, smacked QQ full face into KK for three-quarters of my 60,000 stack and then lost a race the next hand. Happens innit.
So loved my table as well. Two rocks in the three seats to my left and I twice re-popped others attacking them with nowt. They were mine, all mine. Grrrrrr

On reflection, & after several complaints, this needs a comma between "me" & "dick".

***ROFL ALERT***

Just checked my emails and there was one from the Racing Post online poker editor saying he'd added a 'comments box' to my blog. Thought this may be asking for trouble.

LOL, Jarv53 of the UK, I've a fair idea who you are...
