No scorage on Thursday night. Sir Donksalot made yet another final table - that's four this year - but failed to arrange a saver in schoolboy-errorish fashion.
Edna would be whooping all our asses if she was in the league. Old school is still best.

Tighty poser of the day
I played on the same deepstack table as a footballer last week. He told me he scored a few goals v the mighty Posh six or seven years ago. White guy covered in bling, probably now early 30s, cockerney accent. Any guesses?

37 Runners last night.. pleased to make 3rd final in a row... but a bit disappointed to go in short stacked and busting 7th  ( no savers...bugger ) after chipping up nicely all night and winning a race with QQ v Ak for a nice pot... made one mistake all night trying to outplay a reasonable stack OP with 9 10 clubs... he stubbornly refused to fold a set of jacks when the flush came...sigh... never learn...

But my Luton Tag game back on track with a few wrinkles and it seems to be working.. so Chompy beware...

Weird hand of the night... truly bad player limps utg + 1 all fold to the sb who makes up weak....blinds 100 -200 me BB raise to 800 with K4 and the early limper decides to peel..its obv his got high cards or some rag ace... flop is 2 3 7 rainbow.. i ask him how much he has.. a little over 2k and i set him in..he has a think and finally calls with....K J  o/s with the immortal words ' i have to get lucky, ur winning ' LOL.....

Got him later calling his desperate short push after he truly wanked away the chips i gave him with 4 8 o/s... revenge is a def a dish best served cold...

Had a nice guy who does work for my company to my left.. absolute rock who at regular intervals announced to the table he refused to play shit cards as he passed his 900th hand in a row.. funny when he said that my ears heard ' please rape my fucking blind with impunity ' it would have been rude not to..

What time is the Sunday £100 Freezeout now, please?

And is it still on Sunday?

Serious question. Ish. It keeps bloody moving.

I had in the back of my mind (from an earlier post by Celtic) that it's not the £75 tonight but the monthly £250  (not that one can tell from the website!).

Anyway,I've just called the G and they confirmed its the £250 and there's no £75 tourney tonight.

Beat me to it.

George

Perhaps you could suggest to the powers that be that the £250 is mentioned on the website. It'd be all to easy for some of us to come along for the £75 and have a wasted journey.

Cheers

Alan.

Glenn...Agreed. Hope to see you on Sunday.

I have had one shift in the poker room in the last two months so I am not entirely sure on the Sunday start time. Will pass on request to get the website updated though.

Getting this sort of info right on the website is way down the list of priorities.
Spread on how many turn up to play a £75 jobbie, can't afford £250 and never return to the G - 11-12

imo
