The £100 golf day jobbie last Monday also wasn't shown on the website.
It's not like the website info can't be changed at any time. Just one phone call you would imagine to sort it out?
They are also going to have problems tomorrow and next Sunday imo because of different start times on the published literature compared to the website.
At least they've sorted out the major issues, like not changing the payout structure on the system. Grrrrrrrr

the website issue is much more complicated than you'd think

Incredibly, and this was the case about a year ago when I used to try and change some of this (my naivete to the point of stupidity ) the head office marketing team that compiles the websites for the individual clubs needs a lot of notice to make changes.

No one seems to have thought of the obvious solution, devolve the management of the individual club websites to the card-rooms themselves to update from the card-room whenever they like

this is not possible for two reasons

a) G Management (at Luton anyway) do not allow any Internet Browser on the PCs in the cardroom LOL, its just card-room magic on the menu

b) Marketing team at head office won't give up the website management

Sigh.
Still, that shouldn't be a problem as long as the information sent at the start of each month is correct.
This month they went with a different format, which would work if every Monday, Friday was the same, but they ain't innit.
Switch back to the old day by day listings imo.

why cant they just get a schedule that works, then stick with it for a very long period, till the schedule becomes ingrained in every regulars brain? would make the cardroom way more to conducive to reliable numbers and bigger fields.

Never have so few knobbed something up so much.......

They could take a few lessons from DTD and Venetian etc.. so well run they should be in charge of organising military strikes not Poker comps

Seriously, is there any way of finding out the start-time of Sunday's (todays) £100?

I'm pretty sure they said they were going to stick to the 4pm start until July.

Smiley  If I was planning to play, I'd be there for 4pm.  There will be enough people turning up in case of a 4pm start to have a good natter/moan with whilst waiting for kick off!

Phone the card room at 2.30. Someone will be there and be able to confirm.

Then call back half an hour later and get the real time

I 'phoned them yesterday, & asked what time it started today.

The Nice Lady said the "usual time".

I said "what time is that, please?"

She replied "I don't know".
