Hand goes like this

Player A and player b see the flop with 2 or 3 others

Player A holds
Player B holds

Flop =

Player A bets and Player B calls - others drop out

Turn makes it =

Player A checks
Player B bets 2/3 of pot
Player A calls

River makes it =     two hearts

Player A Checks
Player B bets the pot

Player A starts to mull it over for ages
Another player at the table says 'Queen no good now'
Player B Says 'Pretty sure my queen is still good'

Player A calls pretty quickly
Player A gets pretty pissed off when he sees player b's hand and stays that way for a long time.

Acceptable speech play or not?

Seems fine to me, player A is a sore loser.

I think it's fine.  Did player A think his 8 kicker was going to be good?

No, but his 8 flush beats trips.

Another player at the table says 'Queen no good now'

Not acceptable

Player B Says 'Pretty sure my queen is still good'

Acceptable

If anything Player A should be annoyed by first comment .. Player B has no complaints.

Other player piping up is bang out of order in my opinion and deserves a penalty.

It could affect either player's decision in one way or the other.

He says "queen no good" which could easily tilt the fella and make him call when the other guy was bluffing. Alternatively it could make him pass when the other guy had the nuts and wanted the call. Total twat.

Player still in the hand can say whatever he wants imo. No problem there at all.

Somebody at the table saying "Queen no good now" is pretty stupid and obvious considering Freddy died some time ago

Nothing wrong with that... He has not declared his hand like saying 'I have aces' then turning over aces... so as long as the hand is not declared there is nothing wrong there...

You're allowed to declare your hand, too. At least by Grosvenor rules. All speech play goes. You do need to actually be involved in the hand at the time, of course.
