David Courtney - OUT: He moved in with

took him on... the flop brought one jack, the turn another and he was looking for a hold'em cash game about 30 seconds later, in no way downcast. "Next one" he says, cheerfully.

You may have to record the office Louise. Yongster has just doubled up to 17k.
He slowplayed pocket
allowing his opponent's AK to catch up with an ace on the turn. Rob moved in on the river and was duly paid off.
do not beat Ah As

Table 7
Paul Moss 6,000
Jeffrey Buffenbarger 9,500
Trevor Webber 11,600
Burnley John 13,500
David Robinson 11,300
Greg Winters 9,300 (you may recognise him from much state of the art internet/TV stuff as the 'axxeman.' One game is clearly not enough; he's got his raggy crossword out too)
Simon Trumper 5,200 (a new addition to the table)
G. Butler 14,600
Stephen Lennon 9,000
Tikay 12,600

Boody up to 14.7k.
Two lots of Aces.
Once against Sheriff's AK where he extracted 2k off Mr Fatman.
2nd time board was AKT and Boody managed to take 3.5k with his trips v Mateyboy's trip tens. The jack on the turn fizzled the action slightly.

Tighty is down to 5k after tangling with JP.
Both were in the blinds. JP held
and Tight had
.
The board came out a very harsh Ah
putting Tighty into hot hot water.
Tighty bet the flop, JP smooth called.
Turn was a blank. Both checked.
River was another blank. JP made a good check, Tighty bet, JP went all-in for his remainding stack and Tighty called.
9 high flush wins. Ouch. JP was short stacked though, so Tighty lives to fight for another day... or make the 3rd game 20 minutes up the road at cheesey.

D Sami on 12k after playing just 3 hands.
He's on the danger table with Wernick, JP, Camel, Bambos, Irish Dennis, Womble, Tighty.
Blimey!

The first break has come and gone and the intrepid players are now playing with blinds of 100 - 200. Still fairly small change, but according to Xuyen there are some early bustouts caused by this being a relatively small comp by some of these players' standards, and so the chase for the old ranking points has been the big draw...
Anyway, I think it's about time for you to see Pino Valentino's shirt, and a few familiar faces. So off with the camera.

BLONDITE COUNT
MalcM - 7.3k
Camel - 12.1k
Yongster - 13.5k
DingDell - 9k
JP - 9.6k
Tikay - 12.2k
RED-DOG - 9.2k
Foxy - 13k
M3boy - about 15k
Tikay asked me to add on 10k to any reported value of his stack. I said it be hard enough getting them to believe the 12.2k, so I've stuck with the real number.
